Returned Books Reappeared in Library

I recently noticed that 3 or 4 books I returned (through chat, not through the return a book feature) have reappeared in my Audible library and are available for download! It's not every book I've returned, just the ones I returned this year. It's not a problem, but it seems a bit cheaty, considering I got my credits back and used them on other books!

Has anyone else had this happen?

I haven't noticed that but if you do as I do and download every book you buy to your computer, you have them forever whether you "return" them for credit/refund or not. However, I've actually deleted the ones I returned because why take up space when I disliked them that much? Audible apparently feels the money-back guarantee is worth it as it keeps members happy.

Some people might feel I am cheating in that the books I return are most often ones I actually listened to. If I started one and couldn't get into it, I'll usually save it for another time. But there are a few that were very critically acclaimed that I went all the way through, hoping my opinion would change. When I got through and still didn't like it, I felt I deserved my credit back to make up for all the time I spent! I've never had a problem returning anything and actually the longer I've been with Audbile the fewer books I've returned as I have a better idea what I like.

I just returned some books and have gotten the refund but they are still in my android app library and I'm not sure how to get rid of them. I have checked on the normal site and they are gone from the library and I would like them gone from the app so I don't get confused.

Signing out then back into the app can help refresh this. If you are still seeing the title after trying that, send an email to social-support@audible.com so we can help sort this out for you.
