Ian laughed through his pant and watched her, You just gonna sit there? he teased looking up at her. Why did he like this? Why did he like the feeling of her on top of him?

Kenzie wanted to get off of him as fast as possible at his words but she forced herself to be calm about it. She climbed off him and then lay down on the ground, still tired out from their race. She looked at Ian and smiled, the fresh air putting her in a much better mood.
Ian couldn't help but laugh as he rolled back onto his paws, Tired already little Puppy? he teased, standing and nudging her with his nose.
Kenzie tensed at his choice of words after what they had just found out but recovered quick enough that she hoped he wouldn't notice. I'm just catching my breath. She defended herself and then stood to nudge him back.
Ian stood and headed over to the pond and stepped through it, splashing a bit to cool himself off, he then noticed that most of the pack was around and decided this would be a good time to get close with Kenzie and make it more believable
Kenzie lay back down and put her head on her paws, watching Ian as he walked around. Some of the pack was there and she figured she should be by his side but she was a little tired still so she stayed where she was.
Ian chatted with a few friends of his and walked around with them, mostly talking about Kenzie and the wedding. That's when he noticed that faking this was much easier.
Kenzie got up and looked around for her friends but they weren't there. So she went over to Ian because she didn't want to be alone. She moved so she was at his side but stayed quiet, letting him talk to his friends because she didn't want to annoy him too much.
Ian and his friends included Kenzie in the conversation, insisting that the two of them made the perfect couple. It was weird how Ian was getting more comfortable with the whole situation
Kenzie was finding it surprisingly easy to hang around with Ian and be so relaxed, even in front of his friends. She glanced at Ian and smiled, giving him a playful nudge as they all walked around together.
The group walked around for a bit then his friends slowly drifted away until it was just the two of them. Ian looked down at her,Follow me, he said then led her back into the trees
Kenzie obliged and walked with Ian. Where are we going? She asked him once they were in the trees alone.
My favorite hideaway, Ian told her and kept walking, until the trees cleared to a field full of flowers and a small creek that ran through.
Kenzie looked around in awe when they got to the clearing. Wow... She said to his mind and then stopped her gaze on him. It's beautiful here.
Ian looked at her a sparkle of amusement in his eyes, If I ever need to clear my head, or let out any anger or just relax, I come here. He smiled a little.
Kenzie nodded and then walked around, having a further look around. I can see why. It's so peaceful. She mused and then looked over at him, a smile in her eyes. So why bring me to ruin that peace? She asked playfully though her question was genuine.
Ian laid down by the slow moving water and watched her, Honestly, I'm trying to accept the fact that all of this is happening... And maybe opening up to you will make things easier... He admitted.
Kenzie nodded and after a few minutes went over to lay down beside him. Your friends seem to have accepted this. She commented as she looked out at the water.
Ian nodded, They have. They are jealous actually, he chuckled and looked at her, Something about being with the prettiest strongest girl in the pack? I don't know.
Kenzie would have blushed if she hadn't been a wolf. She laughed a little and then gave a shrug. I don't know either. She said softly and looked over at him.
He shook his head and stretched as he stood, So, am I a good kisser?" He asked, a glitter of amusement in his eye.
Kenzie looked up at Ian. I've only ever kissed you when I was drunk. She pointed out playfully. Yes she had been drunk but she still remembered every detail of the night before, especially how it had felt to kiss him. So she was stalling, not really wanting to give him an answer.
Ian nodded, Too good to discuss? He teased her, I know you remember, because my lips are unforgettable! He chuckled
Kenzie laughed and shook her head at him. Whatever. So am I good kisser then? She asked him and turned to face him with an expectant look on her face.
Ian shook his head at her frown, he was only teasing her, trying to embarrass her. You know what you want, and you'll do whatever it takes to get it.
Kenzie's frown relaxed. Oh. She said softly but then got embarrassed. That statement was fine until she remembered it was in the context of her kissing him. She didn't want to think about that implied.
Ian stopped to let it actually sink in that they had sex the night before. And the fact that he remembered every second of it...
Kenzie looked over at Ian and took a deep breath. She remembered every detail of the night before and she knew she had never enjoyed anything more than last night with Ian. How much can you remember from last night? She asked wanting to know if they were on the same page.
Ian took a breath, Hardly anything... He lied. He didn't want her thinking that he was thinking about it and liked it or hated it or anything. He didn't want to share his feelings about the situation...
Okay. Cool. Kenzie replied, keeping not all emotion from her voice. She couldn't pretend that hearing that didn't hurt. She stood up and stretched. I think I'm gonna go for a run again. She told him and started to walk off, needing some space.
Kenzie walked off and then once she was alone she started running. She didn't know where she was going by she knew she needed to get away. She realised it was ridiculous but she had hoped that the guy that had got her pregnant would at least remember their night together, regardless of how he felt about her.
Ian laid there and sighed, thinking about the night before, why did he like it so much? Why did he miss the feeling...? And why couldn't he stop thinking about it...?
Kenzie found herself back to Ian's. She shifted back and ran inside. She grabbed her things, needing to get home and just hide away in her bed. It was childish but she couldn't deal with anything anymore.
Eventually Ian, headed back home, finding Kenzie's things gone, along with Kenzie. He sighed and flopped on his bed. He was glad they had some space, he needed to clear his mind and relax.
Kenzie had made it home and was having a second shower, trying to wash out all traces of Ian. It was too difficult though because every inch of her body craved his touch and her head was spinning with thoughts of him.
Ian stared at the ceiling, flashbacks from the night before flooding his mind... What was wrong with him? Maybe it was because she was pregnant, or maybe it was because it was Kenzie... He didn't know why he couldn't stop thinking about her
Kenzie finished her shower and then got dressed. She grabbed a tub of ice cream and sat on her couch to watch TV, still feeling a little hungover. She knew her mom would be pissed when she got home and found her not with Ian and not planning the wedding but she couldn't bring herself to care.
((Maybe his mom stops by her place to do some wedding planning and then Ian picks her up per his mothers request and they go out?))
