"Sounds good to me. Ready?" Pepper tensed, "ready, set, go!" She dug in her heels and Raffel ran forward.

Jordan spured Buck into a run as he caught up to Pepper and Raffel, the large rock began to get closer and closer. Jordan leaned his chest closer to Buck and wrapped the reins around his hand as he prepared to wrap around the turn, nearly parrallel to Pepper.

Pepper grinned with the wind on her face. She leaned forward, too, and spurred Raffel a bit faster.

Turning the corner, Jordan took the lead for a short time. Pepper was hot on Buck's heels, the end of the forest came within view and Jordan dodged trees as they hurdled closer to him.

Pepper rode as hard as she dared, barely passing Jordan and Buck and reaching the small clearing first. She rounded the large rock and began her race back to where they had started...

Jordan followed after Pepper and Raffel, close on their heels he rounded the large rock after them and backtracked to the finish line. The clearing grew closer and closer and Jordan could feel the extra air coming from the flat land.
