"Maybe they'll like me! The seahorses at the aquarium always seemed to like me. I know that they're not technically related, but still... My name is Helen, it's nice to meet you Nix!" Helen said, grinning. "So where are these pegasi?"

At the sight of the stables, Helen picked up her pace, walking much quicker. In the fences, one of the pegasi trotted over to her, and nuzzled her in the face. "Why hello there!" Helen said sweetly, pushing the pegasus' away from her, so she could actually see it. "Aren't you a pretty thing!" she told her, gently stroking her head. "Why thank you!" it replied. Helen stepped back, staring at it like she had gone insane. "You can talk to me?" she blurted. "Um, yeah. You're a daughter of-" the horse began, but a blue glowing symbol of a trident glowed above her head. It looked quite comical, but Helen knew what it meant. "Poseidon." She finished the pegasus' sentence.

Helen turned to Nix, and said with tears of laughter in her eyes, "I can talk to the pegasus. Literally talk to it. Communicate just as easily as I can with you. This is insane!" She wiped away a few stray tears and tried to contain her giggles.

"Really? Only certain campers? Hmmm..." Helen said, contemplating what he had said. The horse nudged Helen's arm again, and told her, "Hop on and I'll show you around. A sky view of everything." Helen looked back at Nix, and translated, "She wants to show me around from the sky, care to join me?"

Helen easily hopped the fence, to the other side with the pegasi. A few wandered closer, but Helen managed to get herself onto the mare's back, with a step up from the fence. The palomino had white wings to match her hair, and took a running leap to fly. Helen gripped her mane tightly, feeling the horses muscles work underneath her. "What's your name?" Helen questioned the pegasus. "Angel!" she replied.

Angel flew over Camp, pointing out all of the important parts. She very carefully outlined the boundaries to Helen, stressing the dangers that lurked in them. She flew towards the Athena parthenos, and landed on Athena's soldier. "I can't believe someone actually found this!" Helen laughed, waving at Nix.

[I am so sorry I totally thought that I replied tbh]
Helen gripped on to Angel tightly, and screamed loudly when she shot down in decent. The only metaphor Helen could attribute it to would be an eagle diving for it's prey. Angel's wings were tight against Helen's legs, bury when merely a few feet from the ground, spread out. Helen could feel the muscles and tendons in Angel's back working to stop them from crashing into the earth. Angel gently landed on her four hooves, and whined happily at her success.

Phoenix watched when angel dove with Helen, smiling lightly. He did stunts like that all the time since they never scared him. Nothing really did. He got his Pegasus to follow with a more steady descent. They landed beside Helen and angel, the pegasus' bat like Wings folding against nix's legs.

"I'm getting off before you make me hurl, Angel. Jeeze, warn a girl next time." Helen said, slipping off of the pegasus with grace. If Angel could have shrugged, she would have. "Your screaming was delightful though!" the pegasus informed her with a whiney. "Yeah, well, it was out of pure horror, so..." Helen replied, smiling slightly at Nix.

I have orientation for the next few days which probably means no wifi :/

"I will definitely keep that in mind then." Helen told Nix, as his pegasus eyed her and said not very nice things. "He sure has a mouth on him though." Helen added, shaking her head at it's crude comments.

"Where do you want to go now?" Helen asked, hoping the fence. "I kind of know my way around now..." she added with a shrug. "Is there something that I just must see from down here?"

"I have. He seemed very interested in me." Helen said with a shrug. "And Dr. D is quite something." she added, knowing that she was treading on rough waters. He was, after all, a god.

"Oh, okay. I really don't want any attention..." Helen admitted with a sigh. "He's this way, right?" she inquired, headed in the complete opposite direction.
