I have a question about using anthologies in challenges.

If I have a book that has three novellas, can I treat it as three different books? If one challenge has tasks that can be fulfilled by two different stories in the book, can each be used if I differentiate them in the posting?

This is a suggestion. Well, two.

These are going to make me sound difficult and that's not my intent. I really feel these are important because I messed up and I'm really embarrassed.

I tried to email the mods and a specific mod and no one is accepting messages. I really really wanted to say these things privately. It's odd to me that you can't message the group mod account. This is NOT what I wanted to email but if I were trying to get a mod to come deal with something serious in a thread right away, there's no way to do it without blasting it to the whole world.

What I did want to do is apologize for not understanding how this group works. I'm really embarrassed. I really mean that. I didn't intend to break the rules and get in the way. I captain teams all the time and I know it's hard when someone doesn't follow the rules. I read the general guidelines as well as the rules for the two challenges I signed up for and I didn't see anything about participation rules.

So I want to make a suggestion to put in the general rules that it's inappropriate to respond in a challenge/express support to people who are playing, that that is the way the mods show that someone has accomplished the goal. The main reason I do challenges is to meet people and I think part of that is showing support. If congratulations are the way to show someone completed something, it's not a real congratulations. I don't want to do challenges in a vacuum.

So this group isn't for me and that's okay. There are lots of challenge groups out there. But having this information somewhere would have helped me and the mods and other people who I inadvertently said everything was OK to.

So again, I'm sorry and thank you for your time.

I do not list my email anymore on Goodreads because I prefer to use messages so I can answer more quickly.

Second,
When I clicked on my name I could not see anyway to message me, but I could see it on the others. Is it just because I was looking at my own profile?? Someone let me know. I do receive messages from members.

Third,
Genevieve and I (JoAnne) are the only working mods in this group. You could also message the TLC Mods profile, which you did not.
