If the book is already in Goodreads you shouldn't add it as a new edition. A simple combine request would have sufficed. Now the edition you added will have to be merged with the existing edition (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...)Please post the link to the edition you added, there are too many to go through them all.

I see you have altered the ISBN instead of just leaving it off, that is another no-no.

Only librarians can combine. What I meant is that it would have been a lot easier if you had made a request here to combine the existing edition.
Now both are displaying as New books (Kind of).. With out any rating or any reviews. This is the reason I add books as New edition. Have a look at this.. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... and I didn't altered the ISBN(978-0143421672) is ISBN 13 and ISBN is 0143421672.

I have separated them in order to merge (= delete one edition and transfer any ratings/reviews to the other edition), but the merge is still pending: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...When they have been merged (which sometimes takes hours), the remaining edition can then be combined with the other 1495 editions. (I hope you see why just combining them instead of adding a new edition would have been a much better solution.)
You did alter the ISBN. The correct ISBN is 0143421670, as can be seen on the other edition.
ETA You linked to The Secret Garden. I don't understand why? Or do you mean that in that particular case the last digits of the ISBN and ISBN-13 are the same? That happens sometimes, but usually they are different.
Ah, maybe you just thought that the ISBN-10 was the ISBN-13 minus the 978 and the system gave you an error message for the ISBN-13 and let the add go through once you removed the ISBN-13 (but left the incorrect ISBN-10). In that case you did not consciously alter the ISBN, you're right about that.

OK, now the merge has gone through, but the remaining edition won't show up on the combine page together with the other editions. Probably (hopefully) a caching issue, will try at a later time.

It isn't correct, it gives an error message, which 0143421670 doesn't.
I don't know what you mean by 'With Clear image'.
ETA Are you talking about the cover? Your cover was a much better quality, I have kept it.
If the book really has ISBN 0143421672 listed, could you provide proof? A photo of the page or back cover with that ISBN?
Recently I bought few hardcovers and found they are not in GoodReads, so added all of them except one that is 'A tale of two Cities'(Some one else added this as a separate book instead of adding it as a Edition, ISBN:9780143421672.) I've added the Correct one as an edition but without ISBN(Coz it won't accept.) Resolve this issue.
