Synopsis Help

I am manually adding my new release before the publish date. I want to add italics to my synopsis but I'm unsure if I use the standard < i > < / i > or if there is something else that needs to be done.

I don't want to have weird symbols in my blurb if they don't go away and change to italicized print when I hit the create book button.

“< i > . . . < /i >” is correct for italics.
