Anyone here have Librarian status? I posted on the librarian group a few days ago to update a page count and no one's said anything, bumped it, still nothing when requests since mine have been done.

Furies of Calderon ISBN: 978-0-441-01268-8 has 673 pages of you count an excerpt of another book at the back 653 if you don't.

If one of you can help that'd be great thanks!

I've recently read the librarian manual, and they use the number that's in the book. Like they don't subtract blank pages, forewords and such. Numbers such as VII and XI don't count though. If i understood you wrong then disregard this...

I'll ask. :) Usually if a page count is off for me I do it based on percentage and figure that out as I go. But it's usually not that drastic of a difference either.

And it's a good reminder that life's not always better where you imagine it will be. I've had dreams of moving to a small town near the Canada border called Grand Marais, Minnesota. It's beautiful with a quaint little downtown (including microbrewery!) and just about everything is biking distance. The hiking nearby is awesome, and a lot of the properties have gorgeous views of Lake Superior. Well, I imagine if I ever actually moved there that I would have the same realization in your joke approximately halfway into the first winter! Too cold!

It is officially the 1st of January here in Jolly Old England (and 11 days left till my birthday wink wink) the fireworks are going crazy outside and what a great year this turned out to be since I have finally found a social media platform I am heavily addicted to, I'm not gonna go on for long but thank you all in this group for making my year and I cant wait to see what 2018 will have to offer

Happy New Year. Wishing you all the best for 2018. My family and I have been in Boston and it's so cold. The last week every day has been colder than anything I've ever experienced. 😂😂😂. It's going to be -18C later tonight. Haha we fly back to NZ tomorrow and I can't wait for summer.

Brr Iain. Scott, once I leave Boston will no doubt revert to it's standard winter temperatures. Hey my family is delighted. My 12 year old told me that the highlight of his trip was that he got to see snow and that it snowed on Christmas Day!
