Reference to Movie

There is a reference to a movie in Chapter 2 which may or may not "be a porno." Does anyone know what this movie is?

I can't remember the exact quote but I assumed it was Behind the Green Door. But that may have come out in the 70s.

I thought about that and also Deep Throat. Can't remember when that came out.

There are some time-errors in the book. This is probably one of them.

Babette, I flashed back to "Devil in Miss (Ms?) Jones". But I think there was a series of incest/taboo type movies that occurred later, maybe the early 80s.

Babette, one review said something about how this book was a reflection of the "Swinging 60s" but I didn't see that connection at all. The Manson/cult/murders were huge, media-wise, but not part of the sexual revolution of the 1960s at all.

I was under the impression it was Performance, until I remembered that wasn't officially released until a year later, 1970.
