Karen Burnett | 2 comments Hi - read a long time ago. British location, mom of two or three kids, husband cheating, has to start over. There is a food undertone or reference to food or a recipe in the title. Very funny. Not much to go on but thanks.

Does "a long time ago" to you mean 20 years, or 40 years? Remember the cover? Does the couple get divorced? Is there new romance for the ma?

N (kaxxie) | 104 comments I'm not sure about the husband cheating bit, but the location, kids, and food undertone makes me think of India Knight's My Life on a Plate

Gil McNeil is another one you might want to check out. Except for the food thing, most of her books fit the bill.

Karen Burnett | 2 comments OMG - that was fast! My Life on a Plate is definitely the book. Thank you all so much for your time. Not only did I find out what book it was, I also have some new reading suggestions.
Thanks again.

N (kaxxie) | 104 comments I'm so glad you were looking for it -- it prompted me to look at India Knight's bibliography and realize how many I haven't read yet, so thank you for that favor :)
