I might join... I read the first book a few years ago, but didn't like it enough to continue with the rest of the series on ebook... but lo and behold, book 2 released on audio last week, with books 3 and 4 scheduled for release in late December and January, so like I said, I might join :)

Always excited to see more people reading Anne Bishop, even tho it's a bit too soon for me to be doing a re-read again...
As much as I plan to some day read Kingkiller Chronicles, I hold out hope that he will finish the trilogy some day, and I can read it then... I've already got a bunch of series meandering waiting for the conclusion...
I AM interested in the Rotherweird books (having just read the Books of Babel), as well as the standalones The Islanders & The Binding
You know my reading speed, so when sounds good for you?...

I'd be interested in this, too... again, whenever works for you, I read quick ;)

No planning didn't even last until New Year's ;D

Haha I'm allowed to plan 2 books a month, that's my limit! So I'm not breaking my own rules yet!

These were some of my favorite books! <3 I would love to do a re-read with you all sometime next year. Much like Charlie I have nothing planned yet for next year...so whenever works best for everyone else is good for me ^~^

I'm intrigued by this too and wouldn't mind joining.
After last year, I learned to make sure audio exists and is available to me before committing to things next year :)

Are you planing to hold on that rule? ;) But it sounds like an effective rule, so maybe I should do that too ;)

That's fine. January 2nd? Starting the year with a thin book :)

Maybe for the first book January 2nd? And a month later the other one?

Anne Bishop is the first time for me. I was gophering in the library catalogue for new books and it caught my attention.
For the kinkillertrilogy: I've read through it halfway, but I want to clear as much of my TBR - list next year. I share your feelings on unfinished series, though.
So, the library only has the 2 books from the Rotherweird - trilogy.
The first book maybe February 1st and 2 weeks later the second one, knowing your reading speed ;)
'The Islanders' somewhere half January?
And 'The binding' March 1st?
Let me know if you have other data in mind :)

I share your feeling on that. I'm having the same. After the competition finished and starting the 6th book of TOG - series I'm stuck. So, is January fine for you?

All those dates work for me... I haven't really started planning 2020 yet, so busy clearing my TBR right now of unfinished series 2019...
I actually have similar availability for the Rotherweird series... unless it turns up between now and then, I'm going to have to buy the 3rd book to finish the trilogy of books... there's a reason my Audible library is a hodgepodge of books I was unable to find elsewhere...
I found Anne Bishop pretty early in my exploration of the UF genre I think... sometime in 2013, anyway... I loved how different and "scary" her books were... these aren't your cuddly UF creatures, but they're definitely interesting and protective in their own way... after I finished the Others books, I went back and read her earlier Black Jewels series, which is more fantasy... equally dark... she's actually reopening her Black Jewels series next year with a 10th book...

L'm interested in reading Once Upon a River

I'd join in for the Anne Bishop series. Written in Red is in my TBR. I don't think I've signed up for anything next year so whatever date works for everyone I'm good with.

Same for this one. It's been in my TBR for a while.

Whenever you like is good for me, honestly - 2020 is wide open at the moment!

Would the 12th of every month work for everyone?

That works for me ^~^

Okay, I'll request a thread. I have lots of unfinished series to go, but won't be ending them this year. I hope next year and to clean a lot of my TBR - list. Well, you made me curious about Bisshop's books!

So, I put all the requests in for the list that I've posted. Only for Anne Bishop it will be the 5 books of the series. Book 6 and 7 is not in my library. I see where I'll get them then. I'm glad that I've found buddies for all the BR's that I planned for now :)

Do you guys have a preference on the date? I’m thinking of Jan 20, one book per month for the Ketty Jay quartet?

Thanks, I'll request a thread.
Tippu wrote: "I'm interested in The Armored Saint as well."
How about Feb 25?
Armored Saint looks interesting... I'll tag along... it has such a low average rating, but a much higher one among friends/followees...

Does anyone want to start a buddy read in February? Say later in the month so anyone who wnats to library book it for the final one doesn't get left behind on the "on hold" list?
A Time of Dread book 1
A Time of Blood book 2
A Time of Courage

Join us then :)

I'm not sure...but I'd be interested in that if there is ^^

I just bought on Monday the first 3 books. If there's a thread for next year, l'm in.
