"I might. I have been wanting to read that for a while.
If there are people who are into the Avatarverse (the Nickelodeon one and not the James Cameron one) there is this book which was released a few days back and which I'd really like to read and presumably fangirl about?
Sha wrote: "If there are people who are into the Avatarverse (the Nickelodeon one and not the James Cameron one) there is this book which was released a few days back and which I'd really like to read and presumably fangirl about?"WHOA! But is there any Kindle version? Since I could not find any.
:( I'm not sure. I just learned it came out and got very excited immediately because Kyoshi(!!!!!). Amazon is just showing me hardcovers.

next week?"I wanna read it, but probably not next week. I'm gonna be too busy with the books I'm already reading (as are you). :p
If you don't find someone for next week, we can make it our next YA bookclub read soon as I catch up!

Question, is that book a standalone, or a sequel to her other work?
I would love to join in as well, but don't know if I can do next week ^^;
Charlie wrote: "Does anyone want to read

Saar The Book owl wrote: "With the upcoming HBO - series in mind, would anyone be interested in reading His Dark Materials?"I am interested since I have book one of the series. I read slow though.
Is anyone interested in reading the new Natural History of Dragons book on or soon after release date? 20th August I think.Turning Darkness Into Light
Anyone fancy buddy reading these in August? The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett,The Picture of Dorian Gray,
A Darker Shade of Magic,
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader,
Coraline,
and A Monster Calls
Preferably in that order, as I'd like to start The Wee Free Men at the beginning of the month, and wait towards the end of it to start A Monster Calls..
@MariaI can join for A darker shade of magic, Coraline, A monster calls and the voyage of down treader.

Brilliant! What dates are good for you? I was thinking 7th or 8th for Voyage, and 13th for ADSoM? You can pick any for A Monster Calls and Coraline...in the later half of the month
Whatever you decide but I would like it if this all completes in August. I have to prepare for exams in September.
Yes, I'm planning on finishing these in August. Ok, 8th for Voyage, 13th for ADSoM, 22 for Coraline and 28th for A Monster Calls. How does that sound?

When does that fit for you both?

Great! Will request the threads
Kathrine wrote: "@Siobhan, me! I think I could fit it into my September schedule, how does that work with you?"My schedule is pretty crap end Aug/start of September, but seeing as I'm preordering it I was just hoping to fit it in! What date would be best for you? :)
Is anybody here interested in buddy reading the Shadowhunters series by Cassandra Clare? I have never read those and think that I have to start someday to see what the hype is all about :D
Franzi wrote: "Is anybody here interested in buddy reading the Shadowhunters series by Cassandra Clare? I have never read those and think that I have to start someday to see what the hype is all about :D"I tried at the start of the year and gave up through book 2. I think if i's read them a few years ago I would have loved them but I've read so much genuinely amazing YA recently that this series just didn't do it for me.
Franzi wrote: "Is anybody here interested in buddy reading the Shadowhunters series by Cassandra Clare? I am currently reading Clockwork Angel. I'm in the right mood for them so it works ^^ So yeah, if you find someone to BR the first ones I will join for the rest at some point :) (also if you like them hehe)
Would anyone be interested in reading The Poppy War in the next few days? Sorry it's such short notice, but I spotted it in the library earlier!

Maybe we can read the rest together :)
Saar The Book owl wrote: "16th for the first book and then the same date (16th September, 16th October) for the other 2?"Yeah that sounds great.

I'll pre-order it too, but I'm doing it through Book Depository, and they're not really great with delivery, so I don't think I'll get it before early September :( Maybe we can say September 10?

OK sure, that's fine by me. :)
Siobhan wrote: "I've requested the thread! :)"Great, thanks! :D
We can always move the date if one of us can't make it. I'm really looking forward to this book, but I'd rather read it a bit later with a friend than alone <3

Yes totally! I'm really looking forward to it!
If we both manage to get the book earlier we can always start a bit early. :)

With audiobooks I'm way more flexible to work them into my schedule somewhere, but if possible I would like to finish them all in the next 3 or so months 😅 When would be best for you?
