Shaitarn | 2185 comments Would anyone be interested in reading the 4 novels in Freda Warrington's Blood Wine series, starting with A Taste of Blood Wine perhaps in July? (I've only just discovered there's an anthology as well!)

I'd love to, but unfortunately I won't have room for it the next few months – I think late July would be the earliest I can manage, if you can wait that long? :D

message 4255: by Bea (new)

Bea | 2050 comments I noted a BR for Skullsworn starting on 15th May in my tracker but now I saw we don't even have a thread for it. I'm not sure who wanted to read it with me (I believe it was Angela?) so I wanted to ask if anyone is still interested in starting it right now?

message 4275: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan Hi All,

I'm looking to set up a series buddy read for the following books in the July, August 2019 timeframe.

Nick Moseley is the best Indie fantasy author I've had the pleasure of reading in my life.

The series is as follows,

Location, Location, Damnation (The Brackenford Cycle #1) by Nick Moseley Deceased Estate (The Brackenford Cycle #1.5) by Nick Moseley Hangman's Pond (The Brackenford Cycle #2) by Nick Moseley The Ghost's Story (The Brackenford Cycle #2.5) by Nick Moseley Spectre's Rest (The Brackenford Cycle #3) by Nick Moseley Killing Lazarus (The Brackenford Cycle #3.5) by Nick Moseley and Grindhelm's Key (The Brackenford Cycle #4) by Nick Moseley

It's urban fantasy, with heaps of drama, and scathing British wit. It will make you laugh and make you cry. Who wants to join me in a buddy read.

Graeme Rodaughan Arkadeb wrote: "I am up for this Graeme. Do you want to do the novels only or the short stories as well."

Hi Arkadeb - all of them in sequence. Daniel would like to join us as well.

Let's start with book #1 on July 1st (Monday) and work forward from there. Does that suit you?

message 4280: by Daniel (new)

Daniel | 1534 comments Sounds delightful

message 4281: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan Hi Daniel, thanks for confirming that. Counting myself, we now have three people in the buddy read.

Because I'm confident we'll go through the full series, I'll get an author folder made for Nick Moseley to hold them.

Arkadeb, Daniel - would you be interested in Author participation. I suspect if we asked Nick, he may well participate in the BR?

Does the work for you?

message 4282: by Laura (new)

Laura (lauradragonchild) | 6554 comments Don't forget me Graeme. I'm also in! That series looks really interesting.

message 4283: by Laura (new)

message 4284: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan Hi Arkadeb, Daniel, and Laura, I have just submitted a request to the moderators for a new author folder for Nick Moseley, and the first BR for the Location, Location, Damnation book to start on the 1st July 2019.

message 4288: by RuinEleint (new)

RuinEleint Hi Graeme, I am ok for July, and I am sure author participation would be great.

I have already posted in the first BR thread.

June/July works for me.

Me! I haven't read these books in years, I'd love to experience them again. I could probably start Graceling about June 10th if that's any good?
