Siobhan (poi5ongirl) | 8702 comments Are you still wanting to read Murderbot diaries, Kathrine? I just got them on ebook so I'd be up for arranging buddy reads! :)
I could probably start later this month if you wanted. Or May. :)

Yes, absolutely! I think May will probably work better for me, if that's okay with you? :D

Yes of course! :) Even if you'd rather do it later than that I don't mind.

If you're sure May is okay, I can do pretty much any date, so go with what's best for your schedule.
Do you think we should do one book every 2 weeks with them being short? Or we could do one thread for the full series and set our own pace. I'm easy. :)

Maybe we can push to after mid-June? I have a lot of exams from late May to early June, so I'd like to not burden myself too much 😅

I also just checked the price for the novellas and they're a bit pricy – could we maybe say that we BR the first novella and then I'll see if I'm interested in the rest before committing? :D

EchoBaz(Unofficial World's Fastest Reader) | 459 comments Wanted to draw attention to the comic book club. It's a really nice, friendly place, but most people that are part of it are too busy with their own lives to participate in much. Really hoping that I can steer people towards it. I got a lot of free time, and my main passion right now are comics/trades/graphic novels, and I'd really love to have more people to read with. If this interests you...

EchoBaz(Unofficial World's Fastest Reader) | 459 comments As for what I'm personally interested in:

Updated my want to read List, added a lot more:

As I said in the invite topic got a lot that I'm up for reading.

DC:
Superman: Earth One, Volume 1
Wonder Woman: Earth One, Vol. 1
Batman: Earth One, Volume 1
Injustice: Gods Among Us, Vol. 1
Batman: Eternal, Volume 1
Arkham Manor, Vol. 1
Batman: Hush

New to the list
Batman: The Dark Prince Charming
Batman: White Knight
Batman: The Man Who Laughs
Hell, just about anything Batman in the last 15 years.

Marvel:
The Superior Spider-Man, Volume 1

New to the list:

The Amazing Spider-Man, Vol. 1: Coming Home
The Amazing Spider-Man, Vol. 1: Back to Basics
Spider-Man/Deadpool, Vol. 1: Isn't it Bromantic
Spider-Woman, Agent of S.W.O.R.D.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Vol. 1

Hell, name the Marvel Comic that isn't an X-men(team) book from the last 15 years and there's a good chance I'll give it a shot if you really wanna read it.

And keep in mind, if you've got Marvel Unlimited. You already have access to all of these.

Got so much from Image that I'd love to read that it isn't funny.
Or Paper Girls, by the same writer
Paper Girls, Vol. 1 series only 25 issues so far.
Revival, Vol. 1: You're Among Friends 47 issues so far
East of West, Vol. 1: The Promise 42 so far.
Fatale, Vol. 1: Death Chases Me 24, and complete.
Peter Panzerfaust, Vol. 1: The Great Escape 25, and complete.
Lazarus, Vol. 1: Family 26 so far
Satellite Sam, Vol. 1 15, complete
The Manhattan Projects, Vol. 1: Science. Bad. 25 parts, complete.
The Walking Dead, Vol. 1: Days Gone Bye 186 parts so far.
Invincible, Vol. 1: Family Matters 144, complete.
Rachel Rising, Volume 1: The Shadow of Death 42 parts, complete.
The Fade Out: Act One 12, complete.
ODY-C, Vol. 1: Off to Far Ithicaa 12, complete
Bitch Planet, Vol. 1: Extraordinary Machine 10 issues, plus a 5 part...sider story or something.
Southern Bastards, Vol. 1: Here Was a Man 20, not sure if complete
Rat Queens, Vol. 1: Sass & Sorcery 2 parts...or something, 15 issues each.
Kill or be Killed, Vol. 1 20 parts, I assume complete

New to the list:

Deadly Class, Volume 1: Reagan Youth(40 parts so far)

Oh, and i'd like to give ONE exception to the within the last 15 years or so rule with one of my faves.

Savage Dragon, Vol. 1: Baptism of Fire I don't expect anyone to want to read this with me, but I just thought that I'd throw this out there

Non-Big 3:

Red Sonja, Vol. 1: Queen of Plagues
Red Sonja, Vol. 2: The Art of Blood and Fire
Red Sonja, Vol. 3: The Forgiving of Monsters

Asiain Graphic Novel/Manga
Battle Angel Alita
Seraph of the End, Volume 1
Sailor Moon, Vol. 1 I remember the manga version being really good. Completely different tone from the show.

Once again,This is hardly a complete list. Got so much I'd love to read.

but try to keep it to stuff that was made within the last 15 years or so, as I have a hard time going to comics before that time.

message 4192: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan Hi All,

I'm looking to set up a series buddy read for the following books in the June, July, August 2019 timeframe.

Nick Moseley is the best Indie fantasy author I've had the pleasure of reading in my life.

The series is as follows,

Location, Location, Damnation (The Brackenford Cycle #1) by Nick Moseley Deceased Estate (The Brackenford Cycle #1.5) by Nick Moseley Hangman's Pond (The Brackenford Cycle #2) by Nick Moseley The Ghost's Story (The Brackenford Cycle #2.5) by Nick Moseley Spectre's Rest (The Brackenford Cycle #3) by Nick Moseley Killing Lazarus (The Brackenford Cycle #3.5) by Nick Moseley and Grindhelm's Key (The Brackenford Cycle #4) by Nick Moseley

It's urban fantasy, with heaps of drama, and scathing British wit. It will make you laugh and make you cry. Who wants to join me in a buddy read.
