I'd be interested in City of Ghosts too. I can't start right away because my books are all packed up, but anytime later this month or after would be fine. :)

April works for me :)

Just go ahead and set a date together, I'm not entirely sure I'll have the time to join anyway, but I'll try to be there! :)
I know it's short notice, but does anyone want to read Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson with me in (early) March?
Skye wrote: "I know it's short notice, but does anyone want to read Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson with me in (early) March?"I'm reading it right now (just started) so if you have the time, we could read it together? :D

Yes! Definitely! I'm really not enjoying my current read so I'm more than happy to pause it and pick up Warbreaker early. Do you have a schedule/daily page goal in mind?

Yay :D Nothing besides wanting to be done with it by the end of February – so about a week to read it starting today, would that be okay for you? :)

Sounds good! There are 53 chapters so we can aim for 9 a day? I'll request a thread to be made but definitely feel free to message me your thoughts in case the thread takes a few days to come up :)

Anyone who might be up for a buddy read of the Powder Mage trilogy sometime in the later half of the year? Perhaps aug-sep-oct?EDIT: I'm also interested in picking up these series:
1. Murderbot-diaries by Martha Wells
2. Abhorsen by Garth Nix
3. The Divine Cities by Robert Jackson Bennett
4. Phédre's Trilogy by Jacqueline Carey
5. Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey
6. The Draconis Memoria by Anthony Ryan
7. The Books of Babel by Josiah Bancroft

I'd be up for a Pern read later this year; I bought most of the books in a charity shop last year at a bargain price, so plan to binge on the series eventually!

Excellent :D I don't know if I'll commit to the entire series but I think at least the first three books :)

Hi Bea. Since I posted that I have fallen behind with a few buddy reads anyway so I'll need March to get back on track, so May works well for me. What about 1st, 3rd, 17th or 20th? Do any of these start dates work for you?

Would July 20 be okay for you for the first book?
Anyone interesting to read the following in late June? The Fall of Gondolin
The Last Days of New Paris
The Book of Swords
Hey all, just a heads up, we rescheduled the Vox BR March 7th if anyone wants to join. We're using the thread that's already there :).

I have a read starting that day, so a few days either before or after would be better - my only other reads that month are on the 1st and the 5th, so any other time is good.
I'm tempted to sneak into your Powder Mage read; given that I read the books a couple of years ago I really shouldn't, but it's so good I could happily do a re-read!

I would also be up for Pern this year! I already own like 1/3 of the series, and read about 10-12 Pern books several years ago!
Love Pern and would love to jump into that world again.

Towards the last week of the month would be great if that works for you (for Powder Mage).

I could do it in July sometime if that’s any good?
I could join in whenever others are available. I own a copy but have other things lined up to read ahead of it.
