Is march 20th ok for everyone?

Yah, I wasn't sure if I would like the show and I ended up really enjoying it. It made me want to read the book to find out what's not in the show. This is one of those cases where I would recommend to watch the show first and then read the book. That way you can enjoy the show and the book.
By the time I saw the show, I had given up on reading the book because I never made it pass the 20% mark. The writer tries too hard to write in period style and it makes it stiff rather than natural. But! This time, I'll do the audio route and that should add a bit of warmth & smooth out the starch.

Early March would work better for me... I have 3 possible reads starting March 15th :/

I also loved the show! 👍 It's a really good adaptation.

Would that be ok for you, soo? Or we could do april instead.
You can work out a date that suits both of you, anni and soo. I'm fine with any date 😉

i have Children and need an excuse to try a Guy book. Would be my first!"
Excellent! Would you be okay with us scheduling this towards the end of June?"
Yes, June is good!!! My first three months are really booked anyway.

Since late march doesn't work for you, anni, would march 1st be ok?

Yes, that would be great, thanks! :)

Would people (nudge nudge Iain) like to Buddy Read it on June 18th? It will be a standalone.

Yup... might be standalone, but the blurb reminds me a bit of Dark Matter

It looks good! I'll buddy read it with you too.

Great! When would you like to start?
I haven't seen the show either.

The 3rd book will be out in a few weeks and I want to read the second so I can roll into the third.

Bill and I haven't really settled on the dates yet. But, I'm thinking of early April for one book and end of April for the other, maybe?
They're both standalones as far as I know.

We're doing a BR of that in May, if you'd like to join us then :) Thread should be in the Sanderson-folder
EDIT: It's here https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

I'll be joining you guys for books 2&3 of the Mistborn series ^^

1. Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine
2. Wonder
3. All the bright places
4. Lovely Bones
5. Slade House
6. Milkman
7. A man called ove

I'm up for both!
I think we were discussing Rosewater, Barry and I suggested end of April. :)
Start of April is fine by me for Sea of Rust too. Or vice versa!

I have Rosewater so I will join that one. Will see if I can get my hand on Sea of Rust too. April is fine for me :)
Rosewater is the first book of Wormwood trilogy, so not a standalone.

Sea of Rust is in my Standalone Bingo challenge, so I might join you guys :)

Everybody ok with that Schedule?
@Anny : ah yes, but only the first book is out I believe?

Everybody ok with that Schedule? "
Fine for me! :)

I can do Giver if you start in Feb.

Good for me.

I'm pretty interested in reading the Norse Mythology book, but Jan and Feb are a bit packed for me at the moment ^^; Would March work for you at all?

I have 5 buddy reads that month, two of which are over a thousand pages... So I'm gonna say no for march 😅

I hear yah Angela. lol. No worries about March. Any other times work for yah? Or were Jan and Feb your only openings for the year? ^^
Booked already Charlie? O.O lol

I can do Giver if you start in Feb."
That would be great! I was thinking one a week, since they're so short and I'm already pretty full for the following months... Does that work for you? Or we could also only do the first one if you're not interested in the whole series. I've heard they're more companions than real sequels anyway.

I'..."
May or july would work!

I am interested in Norse Mythology. May or July works for me.
