I just read it a couple months ago. It was interesting. If you go on to read the second one let me know!

Will do. If I like it I'll definitely be carrying on with the series as book three which is due to come out in a couple of weeks has really peaked my interest.

I would like to read it, but I don't think I can squeeze it in right now.

No problem Tammie. To be honest I haven't got the time myself but I have the urge at the moment and I just can't resist so I'm delaying a couple of things to make it work ;-)

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Dune by Frank Herbert
Hyperion by Dan Simmons
2001 A Space Odyssey by Arthur C Clarke

Awesome! Are you interested in reading the whole series? I'd like to finish most of them before January. Does that sound good?

I've been interested in ender's game for a while. Would you be willing to wait until next year?

@Lillia I'd love to do The Diabolic. I've read Incarnate but I'll happily read book 2 with you when you get to it.

I'm almost done reading Dune, but I would love to join in on the discussion of it if you do a buddy read! It's a book that has a LOT of layers and details and mythology, and I feel like discussing this with others will enhance the experience

I'm up for Psy/changeling, I love that series!
We've got Grey Sister booked for Jan 1st if you want to join :)

Enders Game I could start whenever as well. Let me know!

That's where I stopped on BDB too so depending on when if I can fit it in I would join.

If you wait until next year I would be in for this! I dont believe I ever read the last book.

I'm between books 5 and 6 right now. Catch up and read the last two with me. :)

Fab, looking forward to it!"
What day? To add it to my calendar

I could do it sometime in November? I read book 5 back in 2002, so I may need some refreshers from you!
Also, I love psychangeling! Enjoy it.

Great! When do you wanna start? Is it ok if we wait till Ocotber?

I'd like to join in on reading the whole Dune series next year :D

October is great for me! I'm pretty fully booked all the way until Christmas, constantly reading 3-5 books at any one time so at this point adding another to the list isn't going to make much difference!

Right now I'm just interested in Dune. I'll have to wait to see how I like that before deciding about the rest of the series. Though I probably can't commit to Dune until early 2019. But if you find others that can read it before then, don't feel like you have to wait for me. Books always come back around for new BRs around here. :-)

Here are the ones i haven't yet scheduled a buddy read for:
Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer
The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzie Lee
Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld
Animal Farm by George Orwell
The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham
Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson
and The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson
I hope some of you are interested in "forcing" me to achieve my goal :P

Such an amazing book! Hope you find someone to read it! :D

I'll read Triffids. When you thinking? My November is looking OK.

Also I don't mind read Animal Farm maybe this book will finally turn me into a devout socialist who is against this cancerous system known as capitalism run by fat cats
I joke but yeah I'll join you for both Triffids and Animal Farm

It sounds like a great book. I'd like to read it with you. :)
