Perfect then 24th it is.
Two somewhat distant books I'm looking at.
Ravencry which is book two in the Raven's Mark series by Ed McDonald comes out August 21st. I know Margret and a few others did book one with me.
Foundryside is book one of the founders trilogy by Robert Bennett Jackson who wrote the Divine Cities Trilogy that many here have read (City of Stairs/Blades/Miracles).

Ravencry is the sequel to Blackwing, yes? I will want to read that. I loved Blackwing.
I am also a big Robert Jackson Bennett fan. So in for Foundryside as well.

Sweet I'll set them both up. Do you want to go opening day or give them both a few weeks separation? Both are August 21st so I can do both that date or do one early September and the other early October. Sometimes pub dates are different in different countries, etc. I'm open to either.

Maybe one in August, one in September? I think I will get them both in August, but I should probably stagger the reads as both authors are very good and should not be rushed.

OK, let's do the Aug 21st for Ravencry and Sept 3rd for Foundryside.

Manju and I are planning to read City of Blades and City of Miracles sometime in late May or early June. Anybody interested in joining us?

Anyone part way through The Dresden Files and wants to look at continuing after June? I'm up to book 11.

I would like to read Brief Cases when it comes out in June, but if you want to buddy read it when you are done with the rest of the series I'll wait until you can get to it.
Tammie I saw your initial invite for brief cases and can't remember if I responded. If I can snag a library copy in a reasonable timeframe, I'm in. I'll hound for it early and let you know.

Ok sounds good!
If you guys want to read it before me, it's no problem. I was going to try to read one a month until I was up to date. But it would be end of November before I was up to reading the Brief Cases.

I'm still reading Red Sister but I could definitely do next Monday.

would anyone like to read the Animorphs series with me? the books are like really incredibly short and VERY 1990s.

I'll join for 13, 14 & 15, probably.
Omg I LOVE animorphs. Those are the books that got me into reading when I was 10. I did a massive reread not too long ago else I'd join you.

@Chris & Niki - I won a print ARC of The Grey Bastards in a GR giveaway. If I didn't have so many library reserves in front of me, I'd join your buddy read.

Yanique and I are planning to read Cinder from The Lunar Chronicles around next week. Does anyone else want to join us??

This sounds like something I could get behind.
