Asha, I'd love to read those (read the first one a few years ago, but haven't read two or three yet)! I can't really fit any more books in until June though; do you mind waiting that long?

I'd also be up for a daughter of smoke and bone in June :D

I only entered this thread to link it to Lena... but I saw you guys talking about Alcatraz vs the Evil Librarians... it's one of the series I still need to read by Sanderson, and I'm sure they'll be quick reads... I'm in...

April May June"
I am. I can start start in May or June. April is too booked up for me already.
Scott wrote: "Anybody up for book #2 of Scythe Thunderhead ?"Yes! Let me see if I can get it. When were you wanting to read it?

Yes! Let me see if I can get it. When were you wanting to read it?"
My library just bought the ebook and I ended up first on the list so I have four days to check it out. Is the 3rd too soon? No worries if it is.

I need to put it on hold at the library. I think it's checked out until the 7th. So I might be a little after you in starting, but setting it for then is fine.

Just go to this thread and request that the mods add it for May 7th.

There's a large number of us that just wait until the month (May in this case) is approaching to pick what we will add to our Buddy Read list... the ones with reading problems ;)
I want to read this and this and this........... and this and this and this...
So I'm sure the interest will grow over time... a lot of things started in January are wrapped up by May... and some longer series like Temeraire...

And THIS is why I try to avoid this thread... I just read the first Dark Run blurb and want to join in... i've been reading so much fantasy lately, that I want to read more sci-fi...
Hello,Silvana and I are planning to read Deathless sometime in mid-September. Both of our schedules are pretty packed until then. Please do join us if any of you are also interested.

Kind of out of the norm for this group, but is anyone up for The Scorpio Races soon? I've been wanting to reread it.
Laura wrote: "I'm up for both Queen of All that Dies (full series that is) and Scorpio Races."Yes! Would late march be okay?
@C.P. - 18th to 20th of March is perfect for me but I'm ok even with a later date if that's better for you. :)@Kiah - Late March is perfect.
I'm also wanting to read Maggie Stiefvater's All the Crooked Saints if anyone wants to buddy read that one.
Would anyone like to read the Crown of Stars series by Kate Elliott, starting with King's Dragon? I suppose I should be honest and admit it's a seven point series (and one I need to finish!).

I have always wanted to re-read it again someday - I just finished Fifth Season and was delighted to see that Jemisin acknowledges Elliott as a "mentor & friend". I don't know whether I could fit in a re-read anytime soon though.
I know there is currently a schedule of Earthsea reads going from April to October but it’s in October that a special Omnibus Edition will be released with the authors introduction. Would anyone like to read this with me in stages, or better yet straight through, starting in November?http://www.unboundworlds.com/2016/07/...

“It took me thirty-two years to write Earthsea and then sixteen more years to get it published as what it is, a single story from beginning to end,” says Le Guin.

This is what LeGuin always wanted for her work, how she wanted it read.

That is so beautiful - I am so ordering this. My copy of Neil Gaiman's Stardust is the one with Charles Vess illustrations - it is gorgeous! And I haven't read the other Earthsea books beyond the quartet and I was just contemplating a re-read... not sure how long it would take my copy to reach though (my experience with pre-orders is 2 weeks post release day).
