I'm reading Malice at the moment (about 40% in) and it is so good. Well worth reading!

When do you want to schedule a Burn Bright read?
I'll just make a note of the other series and check back, unless somebody else responds... I assume you only need to read Windwitch to catch up with Witchlands?... since there are only 2 books so far...

I'm good for starting it in March after it's released, or if not March then my buddy read list is clear right now from June until the rest of the year.
Yes, I only have to read the one book for Witchlands, and only one for Kate Daniels. I'll try and get them caught up in the next couple of months.

I'm interested. May would be best for me.

Id like to read this too what date were you planning Feb or later is good for me
Another question for Malice: do we want to set up the whole series or just the first book? I think I'd be up for all of them.

Yay! I am very happy there are still people interested.
I am good with a start date in April/May/June for Malice. So I will let the majority decide it. :)
@Niki, we can set up the whole series. One every month/45 days or even two months would be good for me. I know people are committed to a lot of buddy reads already, so it is ok if we dont do them back to back. :)

I'll set up a "proposed schedule" thread. 1 every 2 months or so is music to my ears because they're a bit long and not available in audio (aside from the first one). Great pick for a read, Miche! :)

Proposed (yet still flexible) Faithful and the Fallen schedule: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Thank you, Niki!
I do that all the time as well C.P. I've taken a much more relaxed approach this year. At least trying to.
I don't know what you guys are talking about... I'M FINE... I've only got 16 Buddy Reads for January now... more more more

It does sound like you might need one...
@Miche: I only read one book at a time, but I read it fast... 24-48hrs max usually... 200-400 pages/day...
Only exception has been the 2-3 days I spent on Gardens of the Moon...
It helps that most Buddy Reads have been short-ish this month...
@Sarah: I've mostly just replaced my free reading time with more Buddy Reads... only off-plan books I've been reading this month are Nightside and Vorkosigan Saga...

I normally enjoy buddy reads for longer books and mostly grimdark and epic series. Other styles I prefer to read alone at my own pace without making notes.
Malazan books takes me at least twice longer than any other book of the same size.
Yea... as fast as I read, I don't stop and comment much... mostly on breaks at work and when something big happens... so I'll be like 33-40% done: some thoughts in spoiler... 66-80% done: more thoughts... done... and sometimes those 3 comments will happen before anyone could comment on the first one...
@Tammie: I scheduled Burn Bright for March 13th... gives us a week after release to get it... but release day will still count for the competition, barely, if you can't wait...

How about sometime in March? I was thinking the 15th?

I'd love to join for alpha and omega and Kate Daniels.
Burn Bright has been scheduled for March 13th already... I'll request Magic Triumphs for May 15th... same general idea... give a week to get a hold of the book, but starting early on release day will still earn bonus points if you want... I'll try and wait for the 15th (this one will be harder to wait on than Burn Bright... being the finale and all)

Fab, I'm super excited for Magic Triumphs!

That sounds good to me for Magic Triumphs. I'll should be caught up by then.

Jeffrey, it looks like your profile is set to private, so I can't see what's on your shelves. Do you have a few books you're more eager to get to than others? :)
Cool :) I can certainly understand the perks of keeping a profile private haha.
I don't see anything on my immediate radar. How are you liking the Miss Peregrine books? I've been eyeballing those for a while now.

Sweet, thanks! I mostly read fantasy, but I love it when books I infuse other genres like you mentioned.

Fab, how about we start on Monday?

I am very much willing:)

Me, me, me!!! I have had the series and had no one to read them with:):):)

Great, when would you like to start? I was looking at the end of May at the earliest, would you be okay with waiting that long?

Hi Virginie, I'd like to finish the Soldier Son trilogy so would love to join you and Laura (if she doesn't mind, of course!). I've got plenty of reads already lined up for the next couple of months, but I'll always make an effort to squeeze in Robin Hobb!
I'm pretty sure me and Choko can keep ourselves occupied nearly indefinitely, waiting for when is most convenient for you guys... we just join everything...

I'm reading some of those but the only one I'm currently caught up on is Alpha and Omega. I'll join in on that one and if I catch up on any of these:
Kate Daniels
The Others
Witchlands
I will buddy read those with you too.
