15th April works for me.
Siobhan wrote: "I'm up for The Armageddon Rag and Just One Damned Thing After Another. Bit lost on what's been agreed so will read whenever they're scheduled :)"Hi Siobhan, for Armageddon Rag I'll propose for August 1st, hopefully that's good for you.

Yes that's great Silvana :)
Nyssa wrote: "Hi guys, has any decision been made about The Codex Alera?"I don't think so. I'm in for whenever.
Should we schedule the whole series one book a month or only the first book for now? I already bought all of them :)
I don’t mind a book a month, but would love it if we could fit both of the last two into December to finish out the year.
I'd like to join the buddy read for Codex Alera. The first book has been sitting on my shelf for a while so it's about time I started it.
anyone interested to finish the 3rd Mistborn book The Hero of Ages? It’s suggested in the BR thread for the The Well of Ascension. Since, I just finish the 2nd book, kinda want to continue while the memory is still fresh.
Shaitarn wrote: "Saar wrote: "Shaitarn wrote: "Saar wrote: "Anyone wants to read the The Godspeaker Trilogy from Karen Miller next year?"I'd be up for that, Saar! Another trilogy removed from the ..."
Okay, I ask for a thread :)
Nyssa wrote: "I don’t mind a book a month, but would love it if we could fit both of the last two into December to finish out the year."I've requested a theard for Codex Alera. To finish the whole series next year I've shortened the interval between the last 4 books. I hope this will work for everyone, if not we could still change the dates :)
August 20th: Furies of Calderon
September 20th: Academ's Fury
October 20th: Cursor's Fury
November 10th: Captain's Fury
November 25th: Princeps' Fury
December 10th: First Lord's Fury

Looks great to me. Thank you, Anni. :)
I put myself in time out and you guys start scheduling more awesome books... Chronicles of St. Mary's is an awesome series... kinda jealous An Argumentation of Historians will be out by the time you guys read And the Rest is History... because that was probably the biggest emotional rollercoaster to date, and it didn't 100% resolve everything before ending... and I still need to read Codex Alera, so I might sign up for that eventually...
As you already waited that long you should wait a few months more and join us for the last book in December :D And of course for Codex Alera! I think I have to take a timeout now as well...
I'm not waiting 7-8 months to read the next St. Mary's book... I'll be lucky to wait 7-8 days once the book releases in April... I might do a re-read... this is a series I binged last year... and have been recommending to people ever since...
I didn' t really expect that! ;) It was recommended to me last year and I got my copy last year as a Christmas present. It's a shame it took me so long to start...

I'd like to read Hero of Ages this month Barry. Wasn't sure if people had time to continue. I'm thinking I'll be able to get to it about 18th? No worries if you want to jump straight in though.
@ Siobhan and JessSo, should we ask to open up a thread or do it individually?
I think I wanna finish A Game of Thrones first (I'm about halfway done), before jumping back to The Hero of Ages. 18th or later sounds good to me.
@Barry/Jess: the mods prefer you ask them to make a thread in https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... that way they can also add you to the Masterlist by Month and others can find you and join in, as well...
Yep, already took care of it Barry. Hadnt heard from you in a bit so I just set it up.Hope thats cool!
Okay, so who was interested in reading Dragonbone Chair with Anni and I? We were thinking either as early as March or as late as August, but are flexible.
The late date was November, my August is already crammed... If no one want to make the choice we could toss a coin :D

I'm interested and have absolutely no reading schedule for next year except one in January.

Haha I decided before each month I am going to browse the Master Buddy Read list and find books that I have on my shelf so I can do the Overflowing Bookshelf Challenge.

With all the other Buddy Reads added to my Tracker, March looks much better for me to read the Dragenbone Chair :)
15th sounds good to me. I'm unsure where to fit in the other books of the series so I would prefere to decide later, but if you want to pick a date, go ahead and I see how it will work out for me.
I would start with the first book since dragonbone chair is pretty big and it gets bigger so just start with the first book and then if you guys want to continue then just set a date if you liked it
Considering how busy next year is, I agree it would probably be best to decide on a continuation date later. I may have opted out of a bunch by then lol. I'll set it up. :)
Hey friends. Would anyone be intetested in reading Tad Williams " The Witchwood Crown"
some time in the first months of the new year? ( im thinking more like March ) He will be publishing the second book in his new Oste Ard books this year called Empire of Grass.
I really want Martin but I want to read the first trilogy first since I'm told the book picks up not long after the last book have you read the first trilogy Martin? I would recommend that you read it with the BR and if they go through the trilogy we can then move onto this book
Ahdam wrote: "I really want Martin but I want to read the first trilogy first since I'm told the book picks up not long after the last book have you read the first trilogy Martin? But although it has many of the same characters and picks up 30 years after Tad Williams has said that reading the first books first, is not a requirement? This is a new trilogy which is a standalone albeit connected to the first 3 in terms of the land, lore and even returning characters. But yea new generation new story.

Hi, I know everyone's schedules are super full but I am reading this series with another group anyway so I thought I would throw it out here in case anyone is interested.Does anyone want to read The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind (the main series is about 11 books) starting with Wizard's First Rule? Starting in May
I'm planning to read the Sword of Truth Series Hailee. But I'm thinking of starting in Jan or Feb so I can finish it by the end of the year with 1 book a month.

Looks like the first three are $2.49 each in US on Amazon. Not sure about other areas.
Laura wrote: "I'm planning to read the Sword of Truth Series Hailee. I'd be interested to know whether you like the first few books though...
