Buddy Read Invite (Retired)

Haha I know that feeling! But yeah, sounds like a plan alright :)
So me being me and always needing to look ahead I'm thinking of a new series come January and think it will come down to one of these listing the first book in the series.
Promise of Blood
The Curse of the Mistwraith
Empire in Black and Gold
The Steel Remains
Low Town
Not necessarily in that order.

LOL. The new series in the same world is due out in March so I'll definitely squeeze it in between then.

Is anyone else going to read The Blood Mirror by Brent Weeks when it comes out end of October? Keen to buddy read if anyone else is planning to read it.

Try checking out some of the other discussions to see if there's a book on your list. You can also look at the group bookshelf to see what is coming up. :)

My October will be a bit crazy, but I would like to read this one.

I'll definitely be joining for this one!

:) I'm super excited for Lightbringer 4!

Me too. I love it so much. There's just something about Brent Weeks writing that as a reader I adore.
Excellent that there will be a couple of us. Shall I just start a thread for November, seeing as it's out so late in October?

Done and made a discussion for Blood Mirror as well.

If you're in for it I'll set it up. There was never any confirmation anybody wanted to read any of those series beyond Jenna willing me to read one of her favorites. :)

We weren't looking until Jan/Feb to do all three books so you're good.

I already read it, but I'll follow along if you want to discuss it. :)

Thanks! I'm actually pretty excited to read it since I'm going in completely blind on plot

That's a great idea for people who have open schedules (not Scott, our other mod with the 6 month reading schedule)!
You can also check out the bookshelf for any upcoming reads you are interested in. I will compare our books, but I'm not up for any new buddy reads for the time being.

Only my September is worse than yours. You are in fact worse in Nov and Dec but then I have Powder Mage already booked for next year. I'll call it a tie.

Maybe in a week or two?
My September and October are booked with buddy reads. If you want to consider towards the end of the year perhaps I'd join.

I haven't read that one, but looking at the description I would say no. That one looks more military sci-fi and Leviathan Wakes is more political, conspiracy.
