A 3.66 rating wouldn't discourage me.
A Shadow in Summer only gets 3.59 and it's book one of one of my favorite series. I'm not saying that's the case here but I usually go more by how friends who have similar tastes rate a book.

My average rating is 3.60. I give a lot of good books 3*'s because there's no half or quarter stars. If you give anything decent 4*'s or above it dilutes the ratings of the higher books IMO.

That's disgusting now I wish to read The Lies of Locke Lamora as it has been sitting on my shelf for so long that I almost forgot it if it wasn't for Scott and since a lot of us are doing BR's on some well known fantasy books i.e. Mistborn , Name of the wind and game of thrones so why not add this to the mix.
I wish to read this in mid December preferably the 15th because I definitely don't over do this stuff so who will join me on this epic quest of Ocean 11 and swearathon or so I'm told who will ride with me to the death and leave victorious now WHO IS WITH MEEEEEE
(Input Cricket sounds and I hang my head in shame)

I'm in buddy, and I've got all three books already! Cricket sounds are good, either clunk of the bat or click of the wikets! It's all good!

The answer still sounds wishy-washy.

I have the books sitting on one of my shelves (I read the first years ago), so I'd be up for doing all three!

I have started to comment, then deleted it like four or five times now. I have had these books on my shelves for years and really, really want to read them. However, I am realistic about how long it takes me to get through physical books because of the lack of time and the persistent eyestrain injury (about a book a month - yeesh). So now that I've made a sufficient disclaimer about how much I suck at physical book buddy reads, I would love to try to join you and Laura for this one. ;P
October 8th would work great for me. Shall I set it up?

Yes Niki that would be great!
I'm not the fastest reader in the world either. All you can do is go at your pace and we'll discuss bits we've all read. Happy to have you joining us :)

Hi Maciel! Welcome to the group. :) we actually already have a group starting that series Nov 24th-ish. Here's the link to the folder where the discussions will take place.https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...
If someone wants to read it with you sooner, we'll set you up. Otherwise, I think the group read is going to be a good one if you can bear waiting. :)

Sorry, trying to post the link on my phone and noticed it just hopped back to the homepage. Here's a link to the Leviathan Wakes thread. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
You can find the rest in the Corey - Expanse folder. :)

I've been saving the TV series for a rainy day so I can binge watch it. I did catch the first episode though, and I was delighted to see my favorite character introduced early. You know who I mean hopefully… :-)
