February 1st is a little close to another buddy read I signed up for starting on February 2nd, if we could start either a few days earlier or about 1/2-2 week(s) later, that would be better for me - if Siobhan and you don't mind. :)

Otherwise, I'll just try doing them both somehow ;)

I'm fine with later or earlier, I'll read it alongside my other commitments!

Have either of you read Children of Blood and Bone recently enough to give me a recap? 😅

Maria (mariasaleem) | 684 comments I'm reading Lair of Dreams (Diviners, #2) if anyone wants to join 😊 I'm less than a quarter of the way though (but you'll catch up, I have exams coming up so I'll be putting it on hold for the week

message 6211: by Katie (new)

Katie K | 2600 comments Would February 8th work better for you for Children of Blood and Vengeance?? Let me know!!

And no Siobhan, I haven’t read it recently so my memory is fuzzy too. I was gonna look on google / YouTube for a quick recap. If I find a good one I’ll share ^~^

Mel | 2360 comments Silvana and Elinor, I'll put in a request for The Unbroken then.

Soo, I can't promise I'll stick exactly to schedule, but I think the monthly timeline will accommodate more people. Sounds good!

Missed your post Harsi. Also saw Alan was interested. Do you all want me to request a buddy read for the entire series or just start with the first and go from there?

I could see setting it up this week or next or later Februrary. I already have one buddyread planned starting the 10th of Feb.

Well, I'm planning on reading the whole series this year. If you are too, we can request a BR for the entire series.

I've got a bunch of reads already planned for this month so anytime in February would work better for me:-)

Hailee | 2762 comments The February group book for a reading challenge I'm doing is SLAY by Brittney Morris anyone want to buddy read it?

I'm also rereading Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston around about the middle of February if anyone is interested?

Yay. Yeah I'm the same with Pride and Prejudice variations and sequels. Even in my worst slump I can enjoy those. Either that or I'll reread the Straight Guys series (soooo gay and SOOOO good) I read all 8 books (all that was out at the time) in about 3 days. I binged so hard lol.

Shall we set a start date of the 15th Feb? That way we could start on or just before valentines day if we are is the mood for romance or start on the 15th if we want to boycott it 😅 and still be well within the time limit for it to count for the competition.

anna ☆ (annasbookshxlf) | 11 comments Hi! I'm new to this group so I'm not entirely sure how the system works but it seems like everybody's asking for buddies in this thread and then requesting another thread to be made for the buddy read?

With that being said, is anybody interested in reading Lore within the next two weeks?

Also Kingdom of the Wicked? I placed a hold at my library and it says it'll be available in around 12 weeks.

Ooooh yay! I just checked my hold and it actually got moved up a lot, so I'd be able to do it like next month ish, too. Was there any specific date that you had in mind?

Also nice to meet you!

message 6247: by Soo (new)

Soo (silverlyn) | 6898 comments Starting tomorrow, 01/23/21, a few of us are going to start reading The Last Hunter: Collected Edition series by Jeremy Robinson.

We got the bundled audiobook from Audible for one credit. 5 books at around 33+ hours. You can opt to read the ebook on Kindle Unlimited.

We will start with the first book and go from there. Reading at your own pace, etc.

Looks to be a fun, adventure story. Should be good!
