Thanks! Sure I'll see if I can then
Planning for August/September:Anyone interested?
A) The Vengeance Trilogy by Devin Madson - Fantasy Adventure
The Blood of Whisperers #1
It's a completed trilogy and looks interesting.
B) The Dwellers Series by David Estes - Dystopian, YA
The Moon Dwellers #1
Completed trilogy. I read the first two books a few years ago and want to get back into it & finish.
Dwellers is focused on people living underground. The follow up series in the Country Saga focuses on survivors on the surface.
1-3 Dwellers
1-3 Country
4 The Earth Dwellers (Tie in book for two trilogies.)
I figure we can start with Dwellers and go from there. All of the books are on Kindle Unlimited (US). There's a bundle pack of audio for Dwellers 1-3.
@Charlie, we'll be reading all of Stormlight Archive in the Cosmere Book Club, Words of Radiance is planned for some time in August.
Oooh I might join even thought it’s been a while since I read WOK I need to read word of radiance haha
Me. =) When do you want to start? I prefer to read it vs listening because I think MG makes Rachel sound more like an airhead than I picture her in my head. lol
Me! I don't own American demon yet but I can order it todayEdit: just pre-ordered it in Amazon. The estimated deliver date is 11th July. If you guys read before then I'll just comment in your thread once my book arrives.
Choko and I will be starting The Way of Kings from the 1st of July, can't quite remember who else was up for it, so just a reminder...
Soo wrote: "I may join the Way of Kings. Where's the thread for it? I don't see it on the Master Buddy List."Lol sorry, I forgot to say! There's a Cosmere 2020 Book Club that we'll be using for all of Stormlight.

Hailee wrote: "Zaara and I are planning on reading The Goblin Emperor some time in August. You're more thsn welcome to join us if you are ok to wait that long."Hailee, hope you can wait till after August 9th. My exam dates just got announced.

That shouldn't be an issue. We'll happily fit it in around your exams. Good luck with them!!
American Demon - I'm good to go whenever. Curious to see if this extension of the series works out. It's a bit odd to have a book out for a series I thought was finished but I can't be upset about it because there was a ton that could be done with the characters that wasn't concluded. =)
Hailee wrote: "Zaara and I are planning on reading The Goblin Emperor some time in August. You're more thsn welcome to join us if you are ok to wait that long."Seconded, @Kari.
Actually Hay the Jan thread has very few posts and spoilers, we too can just save the mods some work, once we decide on a date.
Did anyone put in the request for American Demon? If not, I'll do it. But let's put the date to July 8th or so? That way one of the Mods can create the thread.
I have not requested it and I'm on app now. July 8th sounds good. I'm behind on other reads and have family in so I won't be reading much this week
Soo wrote: "Ok. Request in. If it doesn't show by then, I'll put in a reminder note. lol"I'm so excited to read it! I've just started The Turn because apparently it's referenced a lot in the new book.
Last call for The Way of Kings starting this week in the 2020 Cosmere Book Club, anyone who wants to still has time to get a copy and join us by next week. :)
Siobhan and I are going to read 84K by Claire North on the 5th July if anyone would like to join in. A thread has been requested.
Charlie wrote: "Siobhan and I are going to read 84K by Claire North on the 5th July if anyone would like to join in. A thread has been requested."A few years ago I decided to read all of Claire North's book in publication order. I'm starting The Sudden Appearance of Hope after I've finished Crooked Kingdom. It's been a while since I finished Touch so I'm well overdue to read Hope. I really like the sound of 84K but I have read Sudden Appearance of Hope and The End of the Day first. I'll be interested to see what you rate 84K once you've finished it.
Have either of you read any other Claire North books or is this your first?

This will be my first! I've owned The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August for years though so need to read that sometime.
I've read Harry August and Touch. I recommended them both but I think out of the two Touch was my favourite.
I have 84K on my tbr, but I think I'll have to defer it to another time when I can better handle the bleak dystopia. I've read Harry August, and thought it was well-written and impactful, but also intense. I'm a flufflepuffy sort of reader and it tested the boundaries of my squeamishness. Good luck with it, though!
