I'll read both of those, I think... checking on the 2nd one now...

I read the first one back in January, but many of the details of the world skidded right over me, so I'm hoping a re-read will better put me in the story... you're the best excuse :D

Pre-EDIT: NOPE... no audio on that sci-fi one... too bad, I think I've heard about it a couple times now...

Ok, thanks Iain. Too bad about no audio for the sci-fi one. I probably won't get to City of Bones until August. I hardly have anything scheduled then, and I want to start filling the latter part of the year with some buddy reads.

Yeah, mine too... I did enjoy the second one, but it wasn't as awesome as the first. That actually stopped me from reading book 3, because I really want to like it 😂

I am planning on re-reading the Lord of the Rings this year, and was wondering if there were people that wanted to join. (I didn't see it on the 2020 series master list, so I thought it was safe to suggest). I was planning on doing roughly one book a month as to not rush through them and combat any stress from trying to read them fast enough.

Right now I'm reading the Hobbit as sort of a "prequel" to get into the world again, so I was thinking of starting sometime after I finish that. If anybody wants to join or has suggestions for a time-line, please let me know :-)

I tried to read it I was 35% through it but couldn't finish and decided to keep it for later!!!!
It's hard for me to read books that I know would hurt me alone :D
