Sterling (sterling1989) | 272 comments Yeah the 7th is good for me as well, I'm going with my standard Kindle route on this one.

I absolutely adored BSG and this author has set a tall order by referencing it, but sometimes you've got to roll the hard six.

^_^ does the start date sound okay? If I can finish the Echo of What was Lost a little earlier, I’ll let you know, but I thought I’d give myself a buffer.

I can't even remember how I stumbled onto the book... I think I was clicking around, after finishing Last Bastion... as soon as I saw it, I knew I needed to mention it... even tho she pre-announced the release in Early April, I was unaware, because she doesn't have releases announced a year in advance, like Big Publishing House Authors...

message 5476: by Bea (new)

Bea | 2050 comments Is anybody else interested in getting into the Elric verse by Michael Moorcock?
I have this Elric of Melniboné and Other Stories (Elric Chronological Order, #1) by Michael Moorcock edition that is, I believe supposed to be a starting point but I've somehow put of starting it.
I think it might be good for a BR.
Doesn't neccessaily have to be right now, sometime in the next few months would be ok as well. :)

How about October 6th? It is slated to be published on September 29th. Give people a week or two to get a copy and read.

Awesome! Do you have any preferences for a starting date? I don't really care, I just have to finish a few books right now. Any day in June or later should be fine :)

message 5494: by Soo (new)

Soo (silverlyn) | 6898 comments Bea, June 1st works for me. Are we going to read the whole series? I'll be reading this one vs listening. So, probably be a little slower than my audio intake. =D

1st June it is :) do you want to request a thread? I could do so tomorrow, too.
I'm not sure yet, depends on how much I like the first book.
Do you have the same edition btw.? Because I think there are different editions and I'm not sure if they all include the same stories.
Well, you read a lot faster than me anyway, so that's probably not a bad thing 😅

No idea. Depends on whether or not people are going to show up from the Waking Fire Buddy read actually kicks off on the 25th. If it doesn't then I do have time around that date.

Everyone who signed up for Waking Fire in or push it back? We Scheduled the buddy read in an alternate universe when the days didn't merge together all as one :)

message 5498: by Charlie (new)

Charlie (charlieridley) | 5750 comments @Rob how about 29th for The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes that way there's some time even if you do read something on the 25th?
