Probably wouldn't hurt to start my/our Malazan BR around the same time as Anni/Hailee, then move on to book 2 with Twila shortly after, then Memories of Ice +++ shortly after that, etc...

Good idea. Anni and I are on the slow train for this buddy read but you can all start the journey with us before you swap to a faster mode of transport 😉

I really like the sound of a slow BR. I have heard so much about Malazan, I think a slow read would really suit me.

Guys, Navi and Anni were planning on doing a BR for The Way of Kings in July (no date set yet) which I was going to join and we were gonna read the whole Stormlight Archive in preparation for the new release if you wanted to join that instead.
