THIS BOOK. IT'S ONE OF THE BEST I'VE READ THIS YEAR, IF NOT THE BEST.
Maas is an amazing writer, her world building is awesome, as well as her characters. All of them are so complex and layered, and they are engaging as well. The character development of our main in this one was just perfect. We got Feyre dealing with the aftermath of the events of Under the Mountain and what she had to do to survive. Her PTSD was well handled, as well as her recovery. We see her getting stronger, learning how to deal with her new body and habilities and finally we see the newly improved and badass Feyre from the beginning of book 1.
The new characters only added to the story and the Court of Dreams is definitely my favorite part of the entire book. And Rhysand, my bb! Sarah J Maas totally Tahereh Mafi'ed me (if you read Shatter Me, you'll understand - ahem, Warner) and I loved it.
AND THAT ENDING. MY POOR HEART! I can't wait one year till the final book, it's too much!
