I LOVED this book! If you did, (or didn't), why?

I LOVED this book so much!!! It made me laugh, and I could not put it down. The part that made me laugh the most was in the first few pages, when talking about all the theories about Great A'Tuin. One of the theories is that Great A'Tuin is going to the Great Mating Place, where more Great A'Tuins will be born, and this is called the Big Bang theory! I laughed out loud! If you likec the book, tell me why, and if you can, tell me the funniest part to you. If you didn't like, tell me why as well. (Please, NO SPOILERS!!!! I have not read THE LIGHT FANTASTIC.)
To be honest, I don't actually remember it all that well, but I did give it a decent rating. However, I also made a conscious decision not to pursue the series further. Likely due to my dislike of high fantasy themes. I think it was also a little too goofy, to the point where it wasn't really that funny to me, but I really can't be certain.
I just loved the levels in it, like with all of his works. They are fun but they are not just fun. They have substance and are intelligent in there comments about events and people and well anything really.

I agree completely. It is intelligent comedy, which there doesn't seem to be much of.
