* Your book must be a freebie to count (or if buddy reading and your buddy has a free copy - that also counts)This is from the official rules! So yeah I'll get it and then we could BR it later in july. I just read glass sword! It was good.
YAY! Okay later in July works perfect for me. I read Red Queen not too long ago and I loved it soo much. It was my second top read this month.
I just went back through the messages because I had a feeling I forgot something! I found it. Courtney, Siobhan and I were going to try to squeeze Lady Midnight in at the end so we said the approx start day would be the 22nd! I might be a little late depending on my reading situation but if that works for you Cheyenne we'll keep that date.
Also just peeked in the July Buddy Reads thread, there is a BR for Glass Sword starting the 11th. If you wanted Cheyenne, you could ask if any of them got the book for free then you could count yours!
The heat here is making me feel so sick D: And for some reason my air conditioning won't go down anymore! I'm still going to try and dedicate the whole day tomorrow to reading and push past this heat lmao!
Where do you live that it's so hot? lol. I'm all the way in the Northern part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan so it's usually like 50-60 fahrenheit. Quite nice, I can't stand the heat.
I'm in Reno so basically the middle of a desert D: it's been like 100+ degrees for months here, it's terrible! I'm from Seattle and even though I've been here in Reno for about 4 years, I'm still not used to this heat!
That sounds so terrible!! It's only 52 right now. I don't mind because I'm from the Chicago area. I like cold.
You have no idea how jealous I am of that temperature! Seattle was about the same as where you are D: I think 65-70 is perfect! But it's supposed to be 103 tomorrow, I think I might die lmao. Definitely staying indoors!
Staying indoors sounds like the best plan! When it gets hot here I'm basically out of luck because I don't have air conditioning.
Yeah, it's dry heat! Humid heat would be even worse, oh god D: the air conditioning in my apartment works pretty well but for some reason it won't go down past 68, it just stays at that even if I set it lower. My car air conditioning is absolutely terrible though, I hate driving in the summer because of it! Is it fall yet? xD
I live in Virginia and go to college in North Carolina in the humidity is awful! I would definitely prefer a dry heat.

And I am used to a colder climate where summers were in the 80s... So when the heat is like that it just zaps me. And even our swamp cooler can't keep up. :(
im off to the uk now for a week :) if i can find wifi ill be posting as far as i know we are in the middle of nowhere even if i cant post i have library and borrowed books with me so ill be reading :)
Woke up early to start The Glittering Court (: I'll probably finish most of it, if not the whole thing by tonight!
started this. As well as this
for my class. Starting this soon too
. Should be done with the Knife of never letting go either today or early tomorrow, fingers crossed.
Hey Danii, I saw your post on the freebies challenge, from what I remember of the rules you can start a BR up to 2 weeks early and still have it count. Side Note: I had one count and my buddy never showed up!
Okay good because I totally already started it! :P just want to get a head start on some of these buddy reads since I have a ton in the first half of the month!
I'm about to post my first review!!! I'm also a little disappointed my review because I normally do really long reviews, but the book I just got done reading was super weird and it was nothing like I was hoping it was going to be.
I'll definitely be done with The Glittering Court by the end of the day if I stay up late, I can't put it down! I just have 2 doctors appointments, one after the other, and then I'll be home reading for the rest of day and night c:
Yeah I'm about 150 pages in on Chaos Walking and I think I might be able to finish it tonight. I have to go back to work but I get to read there so yay!
We're the only medium team to post a review so far :D If we all do get done with a book today it'll put us pretty far in the lead which is a great way to start!
Definitely! And if Courtney and I both finish City of Heavenly Fire soon that will be a huge boost since there's an edition with over 800 pages!! That's 12 points there! :O
HOLY CRAP, that's a ton!!! O: We would definitely win for sure, there's no way anyone would catch up to that! Yay basically our whole team is going to finish a book today/tomorrow, that's amazing!
I know Danii!! I also am reading The Name of the Wind later this month and it's also a BR and a behemoth book! (Should be another 6 points there)
I am stuck at work right now, but it is super slow so I might get some reading in. If I dont finish one today I should be able to by tomorrow.
I got a migraine and took a nap, but I'm going to read some more right now! (: I'm about half way done with The Glittering Court
I'm almost done with the knife of never letting go. Should be done within two hours and have the review up. It's really good if you guys haven't read it.
Passenger is amazing so far. Instead of doing a review I'm using my status updates. I'm just not going to have time to write a full review for everything.
