Yes, and as detailed as you are willing to go. Probably a paragraph of normal size at least would be nice.
Okay, I'm not extremely good at being detailed but I will try. So if my replies start getting really short, let me know and I'll fix it.
Ok I will. So can we do OCs or a male OC and hermione?
Ok that works. Can we role-play their journey through Hogwarts?

Yeah we will. Do you want to start or should I?
Nathan stood nervously at the edge of the platform. This day was getting weirder by the second, first he had to walk through a brick wall and now he was standing on a hidden train station with hundreds of people dressed in cloaks swirling around him. His mother had apparently been a witch but he hadn't known that until he received his letter. Him and his muggle father were extremely surprised when it showed up on his doorstep. However, his father had been encouraging so they had gone and bought all his stuff and now here he was alone waiting to board a train that would take him far away to study magic. He mentally pinched himself wondering if it was all a dream.
Ally's parents were actually a witch and wizard so she knew a lot already from what they taught her. She looked around, standing with her mom and dad, holding the cage that her owl was in. She was really excited to actually get to Hogwarts and learn more. She didn't know anyone else here but that was alright, she wasn't very social anyways.
Nathan grabbed his luggage and the cage containing his screech owl and boarded the train. He walked down the aisle till he found an unoccupied compartment. Sighing in relief he lugged his heavy bags in and sat down.
Ally boarded the train, biting her lip nervously. She was one of the last ones to get on because her parents were still talking to her and didn't want to say goodbye. Most compartments were full. Ally saw a compartment with just one boy in it. She opened up the door. "May I join you?" She asked timidly.
Nate looked up in surprise when he saw the girl standing in the doorway of his compartment. She was really pretty and that made him a little nervous so he struggled for a second to respond. "I don't mind at all." He said quietly. Realizing he had been so quiet he cleared his throat and repeated what he had said but this time louder so she could actually understand him. He blushed a little embarrassed by his own awkwardness.
"Thanks." Ally said softly. She came inside the compartment, taking a seat across from him by the window. She set her snowy owl on the seat beside her. She bit her lip, glancing down to the platform.
Nate racked his brain knowing he should say something but he never knew what in situations like this. "Hey, my name is Nathaniel but I go by Nate. What is your name?" He asked a little nervously.
"Nice to meet you Nate, I'm Alaric, or Ally for short.." She introduced softly, still biting her lip. She ran a hand through Her Hair before starting to braid it. She didn't really have anything to say.
"Nice to meet you ally." He said quickly. After that, he sat their quietly as the train pulled out of the station and roared down the tracks. He was really nervous about all of this. He had no idea what he was getting into or what life would be like at this magical boarding school. "Soo are your parents magical too?" He asked slowly hoping to make some conversation.
"Yeah. They both are." Ally nodded. "What about you parents?" She asked calmly, looking out the window. She smiled as they pulled away from the train station. She didn't mind talkin to him, seeing that he was nervous.
"Oh nice. My mom was magical but she died when I was really young. So I have been raised by my muggle dad." Nate said slowly. "This is all so foreign to me. A few weeks ago I didn't even know magic existed." He finished slowly.
Ally nodded. "Alright. I'm sorry about your mom.." After a moment, she added. "I've learned a lot about all this stuff so if you need help or something, I can explain it for you.." She told him.
"Thanks." Nate said smiling at her. Happy that she was so willing to help him. "So what's this school like and all? And why does everyone need to wear robes?" He asked curiously. It had really confused him when his letter had told him he needed to wear robes to school. They were definitely comfortable and all but it was still strange to him.
"The robes just are dress code. Makes everyone look uniform and then we'll have ties basically that identify our house." Ally replied with a shrug. "As for the school, it's big and castle like."
"Oh that makes sense. " Nate said thoughtfully. He had only ever attended a public school so he was not used to a school requiring uniforms. He had to admit he was a little excited to go to school in a castle though, he loved castles. "So what do you mean by houses?" Nate asked her curiously.
Ally looked out the window for a moment. Watching the land go by as she started talking again. "So. All students are divided into four houses when they're first years, like us. We're sorted with this thing called a sorting hat which picks the house most fitting with who we are." She explained, glancing at him.
"Oh I see." Nate said slowly. Still in a little disbelief that there was such things as magical taking hats. He had seen a lot this week but he was still surprised every time he saw something new. "So what are the different houses?" He asked her hoping she wasn't getting annoyed by his barrage of questions.
Ally ran a hand through her hair. "So each house is named after their founder. So there's Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin." She explained. "How I understand them is; Gryffindor is brave, Ravenclaw intelligent, Hufflepuff are more loyal and Slytherin is cunning."
"Oh ok." Nate said slowly taking a moment to process everything she had said. "What house do you think you'll be in?" He asked her curiously. He secretly hoped that they would end up in the same house he wanted to at least know someone.
Ally shrugged. "I want to be in Ravenclaw but honestly, I don't really care which house I end up in.." She replied. "What about you? Does a certain house sound like where you'd want to be or no?" She asked him. Ally checked on her owl, making sure she was doing alright.
Nate thought for a moment. He realized that for people like Allie they had probably had years to decide what house they wanted to be selected in. He, on the other hand, had just discovered their existence. "I guess Gryfindor would be cool because I like to think I could be brave but Ravenclaw doesn't sound bad either." He added.
Ally nodded. "Well, you'll find out soon." She commented, looking out the window again. She didn't know what else to say so she fell silent, biting her bottom lip.
Nate nodded slowly and not thinking of anything to say fell silent as well. He looked out the window as the beautiful country side rolled past. He couldn't believe that he was actually on his way now. He had a feeling that everything he had ever known was definitely about to change.
Ally leaned her head against the window and closed her eyes, oddly tired. She drifted into a light sleep, still biting her lip. Ally wasn't nervous about being at Hogwarts, she was just excited.
Nate sat there in silence just pondering his new life. Eventually his eyes wandered over to ally who had fallen asleep across from him. She was actually very pretty and seemed really nice he hoped they would become friends he really needed a friend right now. A few hours passed and darkness settled across the land. A few minutes later the train slid into Hogsmeade station.
Ally slept most of the way there. Waking up shortly before they reached hogsmeade. She looked around, biting her lip lightly. When they reached the station, she stood up and stretched. "Ready to go?" She asked him.
"Yeah." Nate said standing up and fidgeting a little nervously unsure of what to expect next. All he had been told was that he would be taking a train to the school but it looked like the school was still a good deal away and the train was at the end of the line.
"Just follow me." Ally told him. She picked up her owl's cage and stepped out of the compartment. She walked off the train onto the platform and waited for him to join her. She bit her lip, sighing at the fact that her parents hadn't told her about what happened after they got off the train and before the sorting hat, not wanting to spoil everything for her.
Nate grabbed his owl cage too and followed her Into the aisles and out of the train. The crisp night air felt good after being in the warm train for so long it made him feel more awake and alert. All the kids were swarming around them. Making their way off towards some carriages in the distance. The first years all just seems to be standing here though so he and ally waited.
Ally looked around, some of her hair falling out of the braid and into her face. She shifted on her feet, not just wanting to stand there. She then saw a lantern in the darkness coming toward them and guessed that whoever it was sad probably coming for all the first years.
Nate saw ally looking off into some other direction so he looked that way too. Soon a huge hulking shape materialized from the shadows. He looked like a giant he had to be taller than anyone he had ever seen. He stood their gawking as the man bellowed for all the first years to follow him to the boats.
Ally smiled lightly and followed the giant, grabbing Nates wrist and gently pulling him along. "Come on," She said excitedly, smiling at him. Ally looked around, releasing Nates wrist.
Nate smiled as she grabbed his wrist and ran along after her. He liked seeing her get excited it was nice. Once they reached the lake front Nate stopped dead in awe. A vast lake sprawled out before him for what seemed like miles and it looked pitch black. But what amazed even more was the dozen boats all lined up perfectly along the shore waiting to ferry the students across.
Ally smiled, looking out at the lake and all the boats. She walked closer to the water, amazed. They all were instructed to get in the boats which would take them to the school. Ally looked over, waiting for Nate.
Nate watched as she approached one of the boats and then waited for him smiling he follows her out and jumped into the boat then reached out for her hand and carefully helped her climb in as well. Once they were all settled in he was surprised to see how all the boats lurched forward and started to head toward the castle. He looked down at the water and couldn't stop thinking how amazing magic was.
