Starting on the 25th. I read the prologue just to get a feel of the book and it looks really good. This is my first Rollins book and it's a monster at over 600 pages. So far it's Terry, Addy, and one other person. Not sure how many chapters we want to read. Feel free to join us and add to the conversation!

I have read several James Rollins books and have always found him entertaining. Would love to join you in reading this one.
Looks like chapters are around 30 pages in the book I have, so maybe start with two? Could maybe do three?
Strange timing...just pulled some books from the cloud and this was one of them. I think I'll join you in a few days.

I don't think it hurts to not have read the first. It has some of the same characters but the stories are independent.

I also like the setting. I've actually been to Rome and the Vatican though my memory is a little sketchy as I was just a child. Perks of being a military brat.
Lol. Yes, many memories abound from our previous buddy read. That's the part I find most intriguing about this book.
I completely agree. Gray is up against some bad voodoo...lol. (view spoiler)And thanks! It was a pretty cool experience, but it feels like eons ago;)

Well, I had enough time to read the last few pages of Necroscope II earlier today (which was terrific by the way), but I'm not going to get my 2 chapters in on Map of Bones tonight (going to the movies with my kids). I should be able to read tomorrow though.
I'm soo glad because my kids got me up at 7am this morning and now I was gonna settle to read and I can't keep my eyes open...lol, so I'm going to bed. Have fun with the kiddos!

Per your spoiler, I thought that was a bit much.

I don't disagree with that. (view spoiler)
Sorry, I'm a little behind. I was trying to finish up some other books. So now I can focus on this one. Pg206(view spoiler)
