I read this first when I was in high school (9th grade, I think) and I remember really enjoying it, but thinking that Tolkien almost went into too much detail. That said, the world he built is incredibly complete and the first book is the quickest read to my mind. As they go on they get harder to push through (IMO). I hope everyone enjoyed it who read it!

This was definitely a quiet month from me. :/ I'm only half way through it. I'm hoping this audiobook will help me speed it up a little and become more active in this month's reads.
