My copy of this book, which is a library book and first edition from 2014, Alfred A. Knopf, has 272 pages. Same ISBN as that currently shown with 288 pages.

WorldCat is a better source for page numbering than Amazon, but they will often not count the final (unnumbered) page. A user with book in hand is the best source.
