I'll nominate this as the best bar scene in a movie:

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 8071 comments Pretty good, yeah. But the Star Wars one is more universal. I've been reminded of it many times in Earth bars in the South :-)

Snatch & Vinnie Jones? Oh yeah!

Lizzie | 2057 comments What is the criteria for the bar scene? Off the top of my head if I were asked to list bar scenes, it would be Casablanca, Star Wars, Cocktail, Coyote Ugly, and Top Gun. Of all the movies I have watched those are the ones that stuck.

Sampled at friend's a Norwegian aquavit and liked it, but it's not sold here, so grabbed a bottle of Danish one: https://www.masterofmalt.com/aquavit/...
which I'm getting ready to open with exclusively a prophylactic purpose, of course. If anyone feels prophylactic, would be glad for a company. Skål !

G.R. Paskoff (grpaskoff) | 258 comments How about a classic bar joke?

A man walked into a bar...and it hurt.

G.R. Paskoff (grpaskoff) | 258 comments Two peanuts left a bar...one of them was a salted!

Nik Krasno | 19850 comments Opened a bottle of Auchentoshan, which bought in a VAT free area. Wonder whether the lack of taxation influences the taste.
Cheers!

Nik Krasno | 19850 comments I had hoped to greet the winner of the presidential race in the States and console the loser and maybe offer them a beer on the house, allowing for gigantic campaign costs, but they are still clinched in the battle. So instead, we can toast to our new and old members here and watch those last votes counted relaxed with a drink in our hands. Cheers!

Nik Krasno | 19850 comments I have also a whatsapp group of 6 with friends, where the main theme is drinking. So, I'm going with Jim Beam tonight, one local friend - with Courvoisier cognac, another - with Arak, a friend from London - Haig Club, from New York - Stagg Jr., another friend from NY - will likely write that it's too early and all :)
How about here?
