Thanks for all your work on this group.
I would love to hear from other members who are willing to share their tips and strategies for promoting books and blogs. I have a few posts already flagged for further study, but any and all advice is valuable.
My books get good ratings and positive reviews, but both I and my publishers have been struggling to translate this good news into respectable sales. Likewise, my blog traffic, while consistent and warm, remains on the low side.

would be good to be involved in the group, great to see you back and so keen .
Thanks
Benjamin

Great to see you back, Emily. Can't wait to get this group active again.

It is good to see you back.
My books , blogs all are ready.
Let me know if there is anything to do.

How about a "User Guide"? A GR guide and a group guide?
What is your role?
How about tagging messages so that the message tags could be the first level? - it is a pain having to plough through all the messages. - The thread system seems wobbly.

Thanks Emily for breathing life back here.

Thanks! Let me know how I can join!

I have spent my whole adult life trying to find a way to fit it all in, so that I can feel good about more days than not. By that, I mean getting everything done which needs to be done on an average day. That means looking after family, doing chores, working and everything else which needs doing like so many of us It also means trying to fit some writing into my schedule. I would think that most writers who don’t have the luxury of being able to write full time, would often like more time, and less stress, in order to be able to do that.
During the first two decades of me trying to find the time to write without much success, I had become resigned to the fact that this was what a writer’s life was all about. That it would always be difficult, and so I would just have to live with it if I wanted to write.
I had tried every way that I could think of to fit it all in, and to be less stressed about it. But it got to the point I couldn’t see a way out. I thought that being a writer was just one of those high stressed vocations which was a ‘take it or leave it’ type of thing. So, you either put up with it, or just didn’t write.
But, now I know that I was wrong. I know that there is an answer. In the past year I have exceeded my wildest dreams in relation to my writing because I have increased my writing output by over 800% now. The the first part of that journey is in my new book 'Simply Does It' -

I would love to interact with you on my blog - https://melaniemolecom.wordpress.com/
If you would like to do an author interview swap with me please do let me know!
Many thanks :)

Hi Melanie
Hope you remember me. I would love to have your author interview on my blog. Are you ready?

I would love to do a review on your book Simply Does It. If you have time, I would like a review on my very simple ten - minute read How to Hitchhike from Texas to California in 3 Days in 14 Easy Steps. I would also enjoy doing an author interview swap. Please let me know how you envision this happening.

I'd like to find out about high quality new indie authors who maybe haven't got a lot of traction yet, and see if we can be of mutual help to one another. I'm just now (that I have the time) getting into serious authoring and I'd love to share my resources with someone else in the same position. I write as Fallacious Rose and my latest book is a short story collection, The Wyndham Werewolf - on instafreebie at https://www.instafreebie.com/free/KUzlB

So, are we breathing life back to this thread or what! :D
I have been away as well and finished my third novel, but was delayed with promoting my second novel, reviewed by a few Goodreads reviewers in the reviewers group.
My name is Johanna Van Zanten and the novel is GUARDIANS' BETRAYAL.
Right now it is on sale in a printed book for a really low price ($3.88) with Amazon. http://www.GuradiansBetrayal.com.
I would like to contribute again to the group. What are we doing in this group? Thanks to Emily for reviving it.

Firstly, we must hold a group read - same rules as before so make sure you check the instructions thread. Submit your books for the read in the relevant thread and do it fast because, once it's closed, you'll have to wait until next month!! Because we're halfway through the month this will be for the August group read.
Secondly you must tell me what you want with this group and I will provide, just tell me what would be most useful for YOU! Any threads you want setting up, discussions you want to have, anything - message me or post it here and I'll get to it!
We can get this group active again, I just need your help!
