Were you surprised when Cunningham died?

No. For whatever reason, I was fairly certain he would die, even though I really respected him as a character and leader in his job.

I was caught completely off guard. Cunningham was just beginning to be developed. Kava has never fleshed out this character, hinting at some things but never really giving us any context. I would have thought she'd delve into him more before killing him off.

[Robin]

I wasn't really surprised because I thought he would die after the little girl vomited all over him. I just don't know why Kava felt she had to kill him off. As Jonetta mentioned, his character had never been fleshed out. He was an interesting character that could have had some interesting story.

When he said his daughter's name, I thought finally we'd learn something about this guy.

Yes, I think Kava should experience some writer's remorse over writing him out.
