Did you initially suspect that Tully wasn't the author, Indy, of the letters to his ex-wife, Caroline? Why or why not?

No, I didn't pick up any hints that Indy was other than Tully, although it did seem as if he'd have changed quite a lot since his younger days. After their bad divorce, I had no clue.

[Robin]

I was wondering by the end of the first letter if Tully was really the person who wrote the letters. It just didn't feel like him. Then I thought it was interesting that Caroline kept all of these letters from her old lover and then married Tully.

I was suspicious from the start. If that was a nickname they used while dating, it would have stuck. Emma would have heard her mother use it and it was obvious she didn't. And, I agree, Robin, it didn't sound like Tully. Not even close.
