Ok, I know at this moment in pop culture this title really isn't super original. BUT. If you have only watched the (very well done) series, I urge you to pick up the books. A Game of Thrones was published 20 years ago. I was told to read it by a fellow librarian 11 years ago - and I tore through it. This series has history and staying power! If you enjoy getting so enmeshed in a world that it and the people start to feel real (love them or loathe them), and you're relieved to see that you still have hundreds of pages to go this is the book for you.
