The exceptionally intelligent and mature daughter of two geniuses, Alexia Stavros is your stereotypical daughter of Athena — smart, witty, and fiercer and prouder than an eagle. She's confident, pretty, and on the outside one would assume she's got it all. But, like most things, the perfect exterior masks a shattered heart marred by tragedy. Inside, Alexia battles with a horrific mental health cocktail, and though nobody talks about it, some of her fellow children of Athena have heard crying coming from her bunk in the middle of the night.

Growing up in a family of eight children wasn't easy, especially since Alexia was the eldest. When her parents died in a car crash, Alexia and her aunt fought for custody over the younger children, although Alexia legally couldn't take care of them. At the time, she was only thirteen, and so they all had to go live with their aunt.
But, being a demigod, Alexia was bound to have monsters coming after her sooner or later. And when they did, they killed everything in their path. Including her aunt and seven younger siblings.
With her family obliterated and her home in ruins, Alexia was lost. She had no other family aside from a couple of relatives in Greece whom she'd never met, and she couldn't risk any other people getting hurt.
One morning, she heard the wind differently. It sounded as though someone was speaking, and so she listened intently. Eventually, the sounds turned into instructions on how to find the camp. Curious about what the instructions meant, she followed them and found the camp.

So, he's smart. Really smart. I mean, he's a son of Athena, of course he's smart. And he uses this intelligence very little, because nine times out of ten he doesn't need to. But say there's a war on, or they're playing some kind of strategy game. That's when he really uses his brain.

HISTORY | in all honesty, i'm not sure.

Growing up with a professor of linguistics as your father is never easy, least of all for Jordan. His father spent most of his time at work or preparing lectures for the next day. Jordan learned in those first few years how to be self-sufficient, and remains a competent (and self-taught) cook to this day. It's not that his father wasn't capable of looking after Jordan, it's that he was too busy.
When Jordan went to school, the kindergarten teacher was tempted to resign. He could already read quite capably, having grown up in a house full of books, and quickly found that none of the classwork was especially challenging. The teachers struggled to make him pay attention, as Jordan preferred to fantasise about what would happen if terrorists suddenly attacked the school.
When the monsters attacked, Jordan was at school, now in year 5. Suddenly, he found himself in his element, leading the other students up to the roof to throw chemicals from the science labs down onto the creatures.
But that was the end of Jordan's schooling - he couldn't risk attracting more monsters to the school, and so he stayed at home.

Eventually, he made his way to Camp Windstorm, and is now the Athena lesson teacher.
