Annie (view spoiler)[just seems like she's been so sheltered! I think her summer adventure with California is going to be really good for her. I'm glad she stood up to her new friend and let her know her own wants...to try something different other than looking for ponies. (hide spoiler)]

Annie's mother (view spoiler)[is very structured and rigid, I think. Or maybe it's just my own lack of organization that makes me feel like that. But I can't see having a spreadsheet for your child. Or is that the same as a calendar but overdone? LOL I hope she relaxes and learns to let Annie just be a kid. (hide spoiler)]

I'm going to try to finish another book first, and then I'll start this one. I might not be able to post right away since I might start it in the car. Are you liking it so far?

I do like it! I haven't read a middle book in a while so it's a bit "young" but that doesn't bother me. I'm going to finish it pretty soon but I'm going out with my hubby for our anniversary tonight to dinner and to see a musical. I'll probably post after church tomorrow or before church if I have time. MAYBE tonight but not as likely.
