Delete A Book From List Then Add The Correct One

Hello friends. I'm having a hard time navigating the controls and options as an author/librarian.

Before I totally mess something up, I'm asking for help from the more experienced members.

I tried to add a book on my author profile and accidentally created a new book instead:

since it's against policy to delete it, removing it from my list would be a great relief.

On the other hand, I need this particular book to be added on my list as a CONTRIBUTOR.

Thank you so much in advance. I tried my best to navigate and read the manual and researched possible ways to solve my own problem, apparently I'm Jurassic as Jurassic can ever be when it comes to this issue (or maybe I just need more time to learn sorting things out). I'll be more careful next time.
