Internal Conflicts
-She is afraid og getting close to someone because she thinks she will die because of her cancer
-She doesn't know how express her feelings towards Augustus
-She thinks she a bomb
-She doesn't know how to cope with her illness
-Hazel is very insecure in how she looks

External Conflicts
-Hazel has cancer
-She need the oxygen tank to help her breath
-Augustus is dying and she is becoming very attached to him
-She wants to meet the author of her favorite book
-Hazel wants to go to Amsterdam with Augustus
