Ariane (view spoiler)[it's pretty awful to be a test subject for your whole life and then to have to follow so many rules to keep attention away from yourself. It would be pretty bad if Rachel figures out who Ariane really is. (hide spoiler)]

Zane (view spoiler)[I don't like that he followed along with Rachels little games for so long, but I am interested to see what his plan is to play the same type of game on Rachel. It sounds like he has a rough home life, mom abandoned him and his dad keeps comparing him to his older brother. It won't be long before he puts things together about who Ariane really is. Rachel (view spoiler)[I hate this character. Sounds like she has been a spoiled little queen bee through her entire school years. People like her love to play games with people and pit them against one another. She really needs a taste of her own medicine. (hide spoiler)]

Jenna (view spoiler)[it's sad how much she wants to be friends with Rachel. She would do anything to be her friend and it concerns me that she will turn on Ariane to get that friendship. (hide spoiler)]

Zane (view spoiler)[it's sad that he is always compared to his brother, even that lady that approached him at the fair was condescending to him. He is better than his group of friends. I hope that he stands up to them at some point or finds a way to get away from Rachel. (hide spoiler)]

Ariane (view spoiler)[the tests they put her through were sad and what was expected of her. All she was to them was a test subject. I like what she did to Rachel, but we know it won't end there. Rachel will try something again. (hide spoiler)]

Ariane (view spoiler)[I love what she did to Rachel. It brought tons of unwanted attention to her unfortunately, but Rachel deserved everything she got. I wonder how will Ariane escape this dire situation now though. (hide spoiler)]

Arianes Dad (view spoiler)[ugh I hate that he turned out to betray her, but I do wonder why, Why would he keep her hidden all these years, what was he wanting to gain from all this. (hide spoiler)]

Jenna (view spoiler)[the more I see her desperate acts to want to be friends with Rachel the more I dislike her. Her desperation is sad and the fact that she was friends with Ariane in the first place was because she thought that she better than her. (hide spoiler)]

I am really liking this. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Ariane (view spoiler)[so glad that she escaped and that her father helped her in the end as well. All that experimenting and the whole needing to kill someone to qualify to compete in these competitions was awful. She is not safe and I am not sure if she will ever be totally safe. (hide spoiler)]

Rachel (view spoiler)[how awful that her Grandfather was willing to sacrifice her just to have Ariane complete the requirement of killing someone. I never liked Rachel but she really doesn't seem to have anyone in her life that cares about her. (hide spoiler)]

Zane (view spoiler)[it's terrible that his father lied to him all these years about his mother. I hope that he is able to find her. I am glad that he helped Ariane in the escape and they are now on the run together. (hide spoiler)]

I really enjoyed this and can't wait to read the next book. I can't wait to see what you guys think.

Jenna(view spoiler)[ You know, for a minute I felt bad for her and how tough her mom is on her - but honestly, Rachel isn't a good person. She was so adamant that Ariane be with her in the morning and then ditch her after Rachel humiliates her again?
