Good for him. Yay Jaime!☺

I really hope the direwolf leading that pack was indeed Nymeria.

I am 100% that she is. Arya has wolf dreams and a living direwolf along the Trident is bound to be noticed. I doubt there's another one, so it must be her. Points to Jaime for figuring it out.

Okay, holy crap, do I have things to say about this chapter... I actually took notes while reading.

Is there a word like "shipping", but for friendships? If so, I shall use it on Jaime and Ilyn. I assume Ilyn hates Jaime, but nevertheless, I think he's also the closest to a friend he's had in ages. I wonder what he's thinking. Oh, how I'd love a chapter from his POV. The list of characters whose thoughts I'd like to know keeps growing... At least that also means there's a larger chance that Martin will actually grant some of my wishes.

"...Lady Sybelle herself had been born a Spicer, from a line of upjumped merchants. Her grandmother had been some sort of half-mad witch woman from the east..." Could it be that this grandmother is the same Maegi who fortold Cersei's future? The Westerlings are vassals to the Lannisters, so she'd have reason to be this close to the Rock... I don't know what that could mean, if it even means something, but it's certainly curious. Also, I loved it when Jaime called Sybelle "a lying scheming bitch" or something of the sort... I feel sorry for Jayne Westerling.

N'aaw, Jaime thinking about Tommen as his son was cute. But Petyr as the Hand?! Uhm... how about no. Such a dangerous thought, Jaime, don't let yourself be fooled by his smiles and courtesies.

Eh? He dreamed of his mother? I wonder why.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?! Tom?! I did not see that coming. Shows how much I paid attention the first time I was reading... I wonder what he's up to. He might be the one who told the other outlaws that the heir of Walder Frey was leaving... Could it be that he was sent undercover to open Riverrun for the outlaws? Also, that reminds me of something in Jaime's previous chapter - when he left Tom play for Edmure, he said "No, not him." Why though? Does he know who he is? I don't understand. Does it have something to do with why Tom is there in the first place?

Ugh, I only have one chapter left, but I'm so tired... I'll finish this book tomorrow.

Okay help me here, who is Tom, I can't remember :S

I thought the same about the wolf pack, it has to be Nymeria.

"Put this in the fire", Jaime be like "F*ck off"

I don't know why though he suddenly feels like being a father to Tommen, is that because of Cersei?

Wow! yay Black fish escaped, remind me, is that why they call him Black Fish?

Ohh man that Sybelle was a mess, I'm still annoyed by Robb, dumb fellow :(

Tom Sevenstrings is the singer who was with the Brotherhood without Banners. He was with Lem and Thoros of Myr when they first met Arya. I didn't remember either, first time I was reading, so this was a huge surprise for me.

Lol, no, they call him Blackfish, because he had an argument with Hoster Tully, which led to him being kicked out of the castle, I think? Or at least he didn't go back 'cause the two of them didn't get along after that. I think it's about Brynden not wanting to get married - imo either there's a particular (possibly dead) woman involved, or he's gay. So yeah, he's like "the black sheep" of the family, but since they're Tully, he's more of a black fish. That's why he took the name (I'm pretty sure he chose it for himself).

Oh thanks for the Blackfish explanation. I never knew that.

Brianna (bebecburt) | 562 comments Even Jaime thinks this wolf is Nymeria!
I love how he wants to change the people surrounding Tommen without realizing that has already kind of happened. lol
Stupid thought there that Littlefinger would be a safe hand.
Why does Tom o'Sevens sound familiar?
O snap! Jaime refusing Cersei! Way to go!

RJ - Slayer of Trolls (hawk5391yahoocom) Not only did Tom O' Sevens make an appearance, but Raff the Sweetling was sent to escort two men towards the Wall. He's on Arya's "list."

As for Tom, I assume he is there to infiltrate the castle to help the Brotherhood gain access later.
