Chapter 1: (view spoiler)[The society being created here is really interesting. I can only speculate they live underground and that their government is lying about what really lies above in order to keep them under control. I hope nothing happens to Shade. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 10: The locations of the chapters are odd in that they don't start at the top of the page. It doesn't bother me, but it's just odd. (view spoiler)[The concept of this book is absolutely different. I just like the fact that the idea of mutations is explored. Still, the pace is slowing a bit, and while reading about White interacting with the world above is interesting, I'm wondering what will happen next. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 11: (view spoiler)[I have a bad feeling about what's going to happen next. Either someone else is going to find her, or she's going to get caught by her people. I hope something else happens as these options are really predictable, but we'll see. (hide spoiler)]
