No one has mentioned the dog yet so I'm going to put it there. Well done!
Complete!
Dark Prince by Christine Feehan
August 25th
501 pages
Borrowed book
I was hoping I would love this book so I would have a new 30+ book series to dig into but alas, it's not to be. :/

Current pattern: Airplane (add an additional power square to your board)
Bold goals are unclaimed goals.
Non-pattern squares are to be filled with finished books, first come first serve :)
Book with over 50k reviews - Brianna
Book title contains Been - Ella
Picture - inkblot - Pragya
Book genre is suspense - Caly
Book title starts with V - Ray
Please confirm ok...switching from 1st in series to help with airplane 1st...I think my book Slave to Sensation is going to work for picture of 'O'
The MC, Sasha is a psy...supposed to have no emotion.
She secretly has been having 'flawed' signs of emotion that none of her fellow Psy know she's having.
She meets the other MC...Mr. Hunter:
"She dropped back a little as the door to the meeting room drew closer. She hated encounters with changelings and not because of the general Psy revulsion to their "open emotionalism". It seemed to her that they knew. Somehow they could sense that she wasn’t like the others, that she was flawed."
I think 'Open Emotionalism' is something the Psy resist and is very likely in Sasha's future...I'm on page 5 though.

This sounds somewhat like divergent

Interesting! I'm not sure it counts for O right now, but keep reading and see what else you find :)
eta: If anything you may be able to count it for the inkplot - it sounds like there's something "wrong" with her mind, which is psychiatry, where they use inkblots. Just a thought though, keep reading and searching! :)
@Lory, I read Heist Society last month and forgot to read the sequel hahaha tell me if you like it:)
Hmmm. I'm too late this time for an easy square, aren't I? (My school organised a TEDx event today and I was a part of the OC, so I was verryyy bussyyy last week.) Back on track! Ugh, my BPW keeps dropping and dropping, I was reading so much more when I signed up. Sorry guys:(ETA: Hold on, is the inkblot green or black? If it's black, Library of Souls might work for it, as it has a lot of vintage black and white pictures.
So, for the O (or ring) I could potentially use the book
The story has the Culper "ring" as the main characters. If that isnn't an O, but a ring with a man in the center of the ring, it could work. However, I likely wouldn't finish until next week. So as a backup, this might work.
@Pragya, About a third of the way through and I like it, so far!
Pragya wrote: "ETA: Hold on, is the inkblot green or black? If it's black, Library of Souls might work for it, as it has a lot of vintage black and white pictures."It's black. I think that would work.
I'll also be starting Harry Potter and the Cursed Child soon as well, since it's my turn to get the hold on the book from the library.

The timing will always be weird for someone... sorry it was you this time :/

This sounds like a great backup! So nice to have them, just in case :)
Bethany wrote: "I'm reading Gone Girl, which has over 50,000 reviews, in case that square gets sharked."Much appreciated! We hit the shark with one of our first squares last card but he's lying in wait this time. ;)
Ray (user2637) wrote: "Aww, I thought my idea for The Marriage Bargain for b3 was good. Too much of a stretch?"Oh no, that was awesome! It's just... a certain captain ~raises her hand~ totally forgot about it and used the book elsewhere. :( I'm sorry.

Nice! It works for the girl pic but I have to ask - does the book talk about marriage or wedding rings or anything like that? I'm trying to see if we can use Ray's reasoning for another book. ^^;;
Completion post! Heist Society
337 pages
For raccoon square.
I can read the cypher ring starting Monday.
I also have
which had 662 books from the library. I'm going to start it as well, but not sure if it fits anywhere, but it would bet lots of points! Potentially the N square? I have that online so it's a little easier to read.

Lips That Touch Mine by Wendy Lindstrom

Kazen, I don't think we can use it for any of the squares on our current card so please add it to the bank :)
Kazen wrote: "Nice! It works for the girl pic but I have to ask - does the book talk about marriage or wedding rings or anything..."Oh yes it works for that too. The guy the heroine is in love with happens to be married but wants to get out of it. And her boss was also in a loveless marriage with a jerk who finally leaves her in the beginning of the novel which starts the whole turn of events .
Ella wrote: "Oh yes it works for that too. The guy the heroine is in love with happens to be married but wants to get out of it."Perfect! I can totally see him in that O, busting to get out, hehehe.

Excellent! Your next book looks like a doorstop - thank goodness it's digital! I'm sure it'll fit somewhere, even if on the next card. That would be a nice one for the x3 bonus :)

Could be backup for 50,000 ratings, police badge for all the police involved, or the inkblot because the people are insane.
No worries, it happens. I forget thing all the time. My partner says, "You asked me that 20 minutes ago." To which I reply, "Okay... but did you answer?" He must really like me to put up with my holey brain, heh.Kazen wrote: "Oh no, that was awesome! Yeaaaa! Here's hoping the next book you try is better than The Haters. Eep.
This Sunday morning is almost perfectly quiet - a soundless mist of a drizzle is falling, the stream outside is gurgling... when the refrigerator turns on it sounds like a loud growl in comparison! My husband is also away for the weekend, which helps, hehehe. Tea and books for me!

Yes, absolutely - that could work Ray. And the brother does deputize the MC part way through the story. Thanks so much for picking this up.
I guess I was more focused on the pattern and not the surrounding squares...
FYI - My brain is absolutely fried at the moment. Work is crazy busy (I worked until 11pm last night - my Monday to Friday 9-5 job seems to have disappeared for the moment), and I have taken up some work-related study as well so I am using my reading time to seriously unwind and finding it hard to keep track of things.
Thanks for having my back Red Pandas :)
Dang, 11pm! My partner works evenings a lot (til9:30 or 10) and he gets confused about what day it is and such. Glad we found a space for it (even if it doesn't get put there). Always good to have backups in case of shark attacks. :)Margaret wrote: "Yes, absolutely - that could work Ray. And the brother does deputize the MC part way through the story. Plugging away at my book still but I keep falling asleep! It's not boring either, I thought I was maybe not over the migraine still and then I woke up from an accidental nap a couple hours ago with a throbbing headache. Went off to urgent care. Seems I have a sinus infection (my 2nd EVER.. or at least in my memory), so yay fun! :[ Antibiotics will be ready soon and maybe I will finally feel normal again. Blerg. I don't recommend being ill for long stretches... once you get toward 6 weeks, it gets really old and super annoying. :/
