Brianna - great job! Could you double check and make sure it's on your challenge and read shelves? Thanks!

Current pattern: Tree (Reward: Increase all undiscovered x2 powersquares to x3)
Bold goals are unclaimed goals.
Non-pattern squares are to be filled with finished books, first come first serve :)

I know! I had a mini break after finishing. I settled on some completely different genres, so I didn't get to invested in urban fantasy.
The Wheelathon winners are posted. It's mostly 3 teams that won all the categories. Looks like the most that anyone got the 100-point word was 3 times (one team) and then 2 times (two teams).
Some teams ended 12, 14 & 15 color bonues required!! Eep. That makes my eye twitch a little.
Brianna wrote: "Kazen I just added. Sometimes it totally slips my mind. My bad"No worries! I've done it several times already myself, hehe.

Now I'm reading a book beginning with W for the off-the-pattern square

I mean, I guess thats more points, just more of a challenge.
Completion!Real Mermaids Don’t Wear Toe Rings
August 22nd
242 pages
Square: Title contains Ring
I went with this one instead of Lord of the Rings. Since I am not traveling for work, there is less time to read, so it would probably have taken me a long time. Plus this book was light, quick, and easy. Not too bad.
Sorry not a lot of points (page number wise).

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

No idea where I could possibly put this on the current board, so I guess it'll just have to go in the bank.
Reading Redshirts as I need something red for Novel RPG and surprise! there are hallucinogenic mushrooms! :) not sure if that spot is spoken for and this'll take me a couple days anyway. Cool to put it on the next card too...which we should be reaching soon since we only have 2 more books to go for our tree pattern. :)

I'm so glad us both having books for that square worked out! :D

The color bonus offers the same amount of points no matter how many books you completed for it. So they were working a lot harder for the same amount of points. :P

Could you double check the book you shelved for me? It's showing up on the spreadsheet as Real Mermaids Don't Hold Their Breath. :/
And don't worry about length points - they're a bonus. And bonus is always bonus, never required or something to worry about :)

It does get harder to fit books in when all the flexible options are used up. But that's okay - yea for being able to reserve books! :)

Morning Ladies! Bingo board looks great! Nice job finding the bonus squares. I will have my book for the tree square done today. Not as good as I had hoped but an easy read so that is good.
8-)
Hi all!The cat task has been filled (yea Ray!) but just in case it comes up again, we got the okay to use big cats for "cat on the cover". :)

Awww, I'm sorry it's not better... but at least it's quick. Bad and loooong is the worst, hehe.

Whooo!
Hey guys! I got your email margaret. Sorry about seeming MIA. I did just finish The Marriage Bargain. I am sorry I've been so distant but it's hard to keep up with the thread and I've been moving for the last two weeks. I'm finally done and should be able to participate more. If someone could point me in the direction of what we need for Bingo I would love to pick out a book that will fall in line!Thank you
Tori

Tree in the Title for Tree Square
Not as good as I had hoped. The first part was interesting by then it became mostly pages and pages of 'name dropping' about who she met or sang with, most of whom meant nothing to me. But she is one of my favorite artists so I was glad I read it.
So now what? Are we close to getting a new card? Not sure what I should read next..

Great job! And always nice to have a new long-running series on my radar. :)
