Your down to cheer. :)
I just did that sleep-reading last night, too. Except I'm reading a memoir about fleeing North Korea, so I was trying to get to the resolution of a a very tense border crossing. Both exhausting and terrible on my nerves.
Rose wrote: "I just did that sleep-reading last night, too. Except I'm reading a memoir about fleeing North Korea, so I..."haha. Common symptoms for book-addiction. Your book sounds like it might be good. My brother keeps trying to convince me to read more serious books/non-fiction but I just don't. Though I have been thinking of trying to read some non-fiction (that isn't part of my literature course ) for some time now. Any suggestions?
Kazen wrote: "Got'cha covered - read on! :D"
Thank you! :)
Ella - I love non-fiction! Especially the stuff that doesn't feel like a textbook. Mary Roach is awesome - check out her book Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers. ...I know that's creepy for some people, but I found it super fascinating - how doctors-to-be study anatomy on cadavers, their use in research and so on. She's super funny in all her books, so if dead bodies are a little much there's also Gulp: Adventures on the Alimentary Canal and her newest, Grunt: The Curious Science of Humans at War.I recently read Columbine about that tragedy - so interesting and well written. My review here sums up my thoughts on it.
Looking for something more...
...international? Try Factory Girls: From Village to City in a Changing China (the most scholarly of the bunch but I still ate it up)
...relevant to current events? Try Between the World and Me
...book-y? Try Book Lust: Recommended Reading for Every Mood, Moment, and Reason
...tasty? Try Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly
...just plain interesting and well written? Hammer Head: The Making of a Carpenter
Non-fic is one of my wheelhouses, hehe. If you're looking for something specific let me know! :D
eta: I went to fix a typo and ended up adding a book. Oops! ;)

Morning! Just popping in from the Dholes to see how everyone else is faring. I read this one too - short, free, lots of tools! I didn't hate it, but it lacked a hell of a lot. buuut.... Quick read to get the compulsory book ticked off? I'll bank it!
Anyhoo! Hi Red Pandas! Hope you are enjoying this as much as I am :)
Keeeep reading!

Sorry I've been so quiet - I'm about to wrap up Trust No One and will post completion shortly. I'm only on mobile so I can't see the spreadsheet until tomorrow afternoon - can someone let me know if my next book is Angels Burning (Relay) or Plain Truth (Chariot) - not sure if anything got moved around Thanks!!
No worries Karin - we figured if you were quiet you must have been enjoying yourself reading! :)Next is Angels Burning, as that gets us really close to finishing Event One. After that is Plain Truth. If you have any more questions feel free to ask!
Ray (user2637) wrote: "Finished:My Boyfriend Wrote a Book About Me: And Other Stories...."
Good work! ...totally abbreviating that title on the spreadsheet, though. :P
Hey!I know there are a lot of arms books out there, but if there's a free spot Id like to do
. I do have the Iron Fey I'm reading, so I understand if it needs to get bumped!
Hey back! :)We can put the arm book on a different throw from your Iron Fey book, that works fine. So I have you down for three books right now - Iron Fey, Study in Silks, and Time Machine for Page Jumping. Read on! :)
Finished
Nobody's Baby by Carol Burnside

And for no reason at all... shouldn't the baby's arm count as -Arm? look how cute it is!!

I can tell you really like non-fic. :) :) Stiff sounds very interesting actually and I've added it to my endless list of TBRs . It actually has 5star rating from not just Ray and you but also some of my other GR friends. Checking out the other books now.
P.S- love your last line! :P
Ok...after my next book in page relay is done I'm thinking about a
marathon. I've had this book on my held a long time. The series is six books long....MMA...I've not read this before...If I like the first, I can read however many you think best...I can get all from my library one way or another. Some of these can be used for arms as well.
Thoughts?
I found Lace & Lead186 pages for 'lead' ....I can read or if someone else wants to...it's less than $2 Amazon Kindle
Sci-fi meets mercinary meets damsel... Sounds interesting
I just finishedThe Time MachineIt has 144 pages. I am not sure if the edition posted here is the right one, but the one saved on my wobble shelf is. On to Iron Fey!
I just finished The Night Circus, and on my GR shelf it shows I've been readibg it sonce June 20 because I started that day yet gave up. I restarted it in the morning because I forgot the 2 chapters I did read that day. Anyway, will it count for Wobble or is it not eligible?
Ella wrote: "Rose wrote: "I just did that sleep-reading last night, too. Except I'm reading a memoir about fleeing North Korea, so I..."haha. Common symptoms for book-addiction. Your book sounds like it might..."
Dangerous question for your TBR length! I love non-fiction. Do you have any particular areas/topics you want to read about, or do you want a variety of suggestions?

Lace and Lead words perfectly for the Lead portion. We'll have to keep it in mind, if know one has a more available book .
Sam wrote: "Hey guys, I will be sprinting some time within the next 24 hours, for 1 hour, supporting Ray."Awesome! Are you reading To Kill a Mockingbird on your sprint? I'm pretty sure that's a classic everyone loves.

Rose wrote: "Pragya wrote: "I just finished The Night Circus, and on my GR shelf it shows I've been readibg it sonce June 20 because I started that day yet gave up. Bahaha, I know right!?! I read it for a Novel RPG quest that counts number of letters in title. I looked for the longest book titles I could find. :D
Sam wrote: "Hey guys, I will be sprinting some time within the next 24 hours, for 1 hour, supporting Ray."Yay, thanks Sam!
I found The City of Gold and Lead that would work for one of the "lead" books. It's the 2nd in the series, but they are short. I read a page of the 1st in the series last night and remembered it from childhood! Pretty sure my brother was obsessed with these books. So, I'll have to read them sometime anyway. :) I guess put this one down as a "maybe"? There's only 1 "lead" spot until the bonuses and I've got about 8 books planned (Novel RPG *shakes fist*) and 13 days left! But definitely tell me if we NEED it and I'll move it up the list.
Sam wrote: "Hey guys, I will be sprinting some time within the next 24 hours, for 1 hour, supporting Ray."Yeaaa! I'm going to be doing a sprint today, too - haven't decided if I'll go for one or two hours yet. If the skies clear up I'll definitely support one of the "sunny" sprinters - it's rainy season so there isn't much sun to be had!

Utterly random - the word for Red Panda in Japanese is "Lesser Panda". I know it has been used as a more scientific name, but still. Why haven't they thought about the poor pandas' feelings? And when they're so cute, too. Geesh. ;)
Complete!

This book was a big enh for me. The subject was okay but the book wasn't well organized and he repeats himself a bunch. At least the audiobook narrator is good :)

And almost done with a Support Sprint for Brianna's 3 hour sprint!

Lesser Panda!?

Why isn't there a Japanese word for 'red'?

I'll show YOU a LESSER Panda!!!
